Wharemoana has stunning panoramic views of estuary life both from within the house and also the two decks including great sunrises and sunsets book-ending each day.
The house is directly opposite the boat ramp giving instant access to Wharekawa harbour which has a natural rhythm of its own. Visitors are able to go fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, swimming, sailing or observing the birds. There is an amazing variety of active bird life including being able to observe from the lounge or deck the rare and secretive native Crake which inhabits the mangroves across the road. Californian quail are also regular visitors to the property.
The open plan lounge/living area, together with the kitchen maximises 180 degree views of the awesome scenery. There are three good sized bedrooms, two with queen beds and the third has two comfortable single beds, plus a bathroom and laundry.
