Now with the cooler months there is a fire and wood supplied. Awesome and cozy to sit and watch the sea after a walk.
There is a balcony around 3 sides of the property for indoor / outdoor living and the back balcony comes to ground level for BBQs etc. from the back of the property you can view the Castlepoint light house or walk into the DOC reserve and view the reef, gap and lagoon.
Amazing walks to lighthouse, DOC walking track a short walk behind the property leading to the top of Castle rock.
Golf course a short drive away, next to Whakataki Hotel, Clubs and trundle at Number 44 for guests use. Bring your own balls.
A short walk down the hill brings you to the beautiful beachfront
with the Castlepoint store and cafe 7 days a week.
The Whakataki Hotel has great meals and is a 10 minute drive or phone for their courtesy van . In 15 minutes you can be around at the rugged Mataikona beach, great for fossicking in the rock pools with the kids or diving for paua.
We would prefer no organised parties without permission of the owners.
Public holidays or long weekends are at peak rates.

This house is really suitable for 2 - 3 families.
The cleaning fee Is a requirement as the house is always checked and thoroughly cleaned prior to every guests arrival.
Guests are required to leave house tidy.
