This Bach is on the hill opposite Mt Paku - on the town side of Tairua. The Bach is on the side of the hill that faces away from the traffic as it passes through Tairua so it is fairly peaceful.
It is great for walking with various walks close by, and interesting shortcuts down to the estuary, shops, playground, and the safe beach that faces Pauanui. The walk down passes numerous baches, and there are spectacular views to Mt Paku, Pauanui, and the sea.
One walk passes the Tairua Gazebo lookout. To walk to the four square supermarket takes 15 minutes.
There is plenty of parking by all the beaches if you prefer to drive down to swim.
Set up for families with a variety of toys, books, DVDs, and games.
The section is not fenced however the bottom deck is gated and the top deck can be blocked off.
Spic and Span this is a classic kiwi Bach that is a great place to holiday in. It is quirky with an upside down layout - dining, kitchen, laundry, and bathroom (please note the bath is a 'shub' which is just right for littlies) are down internal stairs. The two bedrooms, lounge, and another dining area are upstairs. The outside dining area and BBQ are on the top storey.
Extras: Linen (Optional, NZ$25.00 per person); NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave;
