Room to relax on the deck after a day on the water. Only 15 minutes from Whitianga and 25 minutes to Coromandel town.
Our “Boat Shed” has a brand new modern kitchen with gas hobs, dishwasher etc for dealing with the day's catch or simply feeding the family, all part of our large living area. We have plenty of room for the kids to play cricket on the lawn while Mum and Dad relax on the deck. There's a hot water outside shower and good facilities for cleaning and drying dive or water ski gear. We even have a dog kennel and run so all the family can holiday together!
A great children’s playground, tennis courts and huge recreation field is only a minutes stroll away. Kuaotunu village is a leisurely 10 minute stroll where you can enjoy excellent coffee at the Cafe, dinner at Luc’s Kitchen or replenish your supplies of food, drinks, LPG, dive bottles, fishing gear or the biggest ice creams on the Coromandel at the Kuaotunu Store.
Kuaotunu is nestled in the centre of some of the Coromandel’s best playground activities. Take a drive over the hill to picturesque Otama Beach and Opito Bay or in the other direction to Matarangi, with it’s long white sandy beach, loved by kids and families, it also has an 18 hole golf course, cafe, restaurant and shop. Continue a little further to Whangapoua where you pass the lovely Castle Rock Cafe. Whangapoua is the gateway to the world renowned New Chums Beach. This walk is a must while in the Coromandel area and just one of the many great walks the Coromandel area has to offer.
