A CT resident but Wellfleet vacationer for over 30 years! We finally got our chance to buy our little piece of heaven after decades of bringing our family there to enjoy the summer sun and shore.
Terry or Tom purchased this house in 2007
We take pride and strive to make sure our little home becomes your home-away-from-home for your one (or two!) week retreat. Centrally located, convenient to both bay and ocean beaches, it has everything you need, right down to the board games and selection of beach reads.
XL family room and 2nd bedroom. You won't find other 2BR's in this pricerange with rooms this size. Floor space in 2nd bedroom large enough for crib set-up. Extra outdoor shower is loved by kids young and old!
Another great week at your home on the cape. Would have loved to stay longer, Fall was a great time to visit. We enjoyed many miles on the bike trails, walked our legs off! on the beach and flopped in bed early! Thanks for sharing your home.
This little gem has everything one could need for a perfect Wellfleet get away. We have stayed here as a family with 2 teenaged girls, and this year we visited as first time empty nesters. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The outside shower is lovely after a long day at the beach. The owners are very easy to work with and are accommodating. We are already excited for our 2017 visit.
We love the access to Wellfleet beaches and the proximity to town. Spacious and comfortable living room; kitchen well stocked (lobster pots were appreciated); bedrooms were cozy and clean. The screened in porch was great for nightly appetizers and rest after busy days. The outdoor shower was refreshing. Quiet neighborhood. We will be back!
Great home with all the needed amenities. Only thing that would have made it better would have been being closer to beaches, ponds, the harbor and the business district
We had wonderful week in this family friendly house in Wellfleet. The house itself is very well equipped with everything you may possibly need for a comfortable holiday. The kitchen especially was very well stocked and in perfect working order. The house is located in a very convenient place minutes drive from all that Wellfleet offers, we also received some great advice on where to eat from the owners who were friendly and helpful. Overall, great clean and well-maintained house in a fantastic location that I would certainly recommend or use again if in the area.
My husband and I loved staying here! We spent 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer! The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of windows to open to get good air circulation keeping it cool at night for good sleeping. We loved the location on a quiet dirt road, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the screen room for our meals. We used the grill each night too which was great to have, and the house was well stocked with all the amenities for cooking and serving food. It was also in a great location and very close to the ocean beaches and Great Pond(which was excellent for swimming!) We went to Cahoon Hollow, Newcomb Hollow, Marconi and White Crest Beach which are all beautiful and we saw many seals! We also brought our bikes with us and rode to Indian Neck beach as well as Bound Brook Island (article pinned up in the kitchen on how to get there) which were both spectacular! We will definitely plan to stay here again!
Very comfortable, great location and very clean. Listing description and photos are very accurate. The owner was very helpful and timely with answers. We had a great stay and would definitely stay at this home again.
