What a fantastic place to stay for a group of family or friends.

What a fantastic place to stay for a group of family or friends. We had 1 sunny day where we played golf at the nearby golf club ($15ea) and had the entire course to ourselves. The next day rained so we played the guitars, ate, drank, and took a dip in the hot tube. The fire places kept everyone warm and the ample space made it comfortable. It is remotely peaceful and an excellent place to catch up. We will be back.

An amazing location.

An amazing location. Could not rave about this spot more! Far enough away that it's an adventure to get there, but not terribly hard to find. The house is perfect, fresh, clean and great for a group of people. The outlay onto Lake Rotoehu is stunning, and with numerous activities such as kayaking, spa pool, and a waterslide there's something to suit everyone! We were there in the middle of winter and the fire was toasty warm - so a great spot regardless of the season! Will be visiting again.

Barefoot Lodge is located beside the lake on an idyllic 6 hectares of beautiful native bush.

Barefoot Lodge is located beside the lake on an idyllic 6 hectares of beautiful native bush. There isn't a neighbour in sight. The home is well appointed and very easy to live in with huge decks that overlook the lake and surrounding bush. It is a perfect get away for anytime of the year. The cosy fire and spa make it a wonderful winter retreat and the waterslide, flying fox, kayaks and outdoor living make it the perfect summer destination. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic location and a wonderful property for our family group stay. The house was really comfortable and everything is set up extremely well. Loved the little hot pool and having direct lake access for our small boat. Would definitely stay there again
