The cottage was really lovely and in a great location with only a short flat walk to the town square. Sitting out on the back deck in the evening sun was a pleasant way to end the day. Everything we needed was provided and we loved the special touches such as the nice china and variety of teas. We wished it was cold enough to try out the fire as it looked very inviting! We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, loved the bbq, indoor fire and the fantastic overhead rain shower over the claw foot bath. Only negative is that it may be a bit chilly in winter with few gaps in the front door.

Lovely old cottage with everything in it what you need for a great stay in the heart of Martinborough. Close to nice restaurants and winerys. We loved the little rack in the kitchen with cups and plates, very nice.

The photos of the property portray a lovely light airy cottage - rather is was very dark making the tired decor look even more tired. Did appreciate it the owners may have been trying to keep the historic look - a small amount of upgrade would be huge in total effect. The shower pipe had a leak resulting in a flood. The gardens were in need of a little TLC. Not the cute, inviting cottage as we thought we were getting.
This is a lovely old cottage.
This is a lovely old cottage. The location is perfect (close to the square and vineyards). Clean and tidy. Grounds a little overgrown and some minor maintenance needed inside. It certainly didn't prevent our enjoyment of the weekend. Thanks
