The Kramphouse is our much loved family bach, which we are happy to share with you.
Being right on the water-front it is a haven for swimming, water skiing, windsurfing, sailing, fishing, puttering around in our tin boat. There are great walking/running/cycling tracks along the river or around the lakes edge to Pukawa and many well known tracks throughout the nearby national parks.
Walk to the tennis courts, and playground, follow the fantails on bush walks, drive 45 minutes to the Whakapapa ski field, or 10 minutes to the Tokaanu Thermal Hot Pools.
The Omori Store nearby, stocks most necessities and a cafe within walking distance is open throughout holiday periods.
Kramphouse is child-friendly with a high-chair, porter-cot and fenced deck.
Our kids dig and build at the sandy beach and carve masterpieces in the pumice for hours. The reserve separating the bach from the lake becomes a cricket pitch, soccer field or gin-sipping petanque court, depending on who is looking for the fun
When outside isn't a good place to be, reading your book, or playing a game of 500 or monopoly in front of the gas heater, feels just right. Sky television enables you to keep up with live sports coverage or snuggle up with a movie.
Downstairs we have added a kitchenette (fridge, toaster, jug, cutlery, crockery etc.), table and chairs, double inner sprung sofa bed, and tv . This adjoins 2 downstairs bedrooms, allowing separate areas for 2 families to enjoy holidaying together, but not living in each others pockets.
The Bach is a duplex, divided from its neighbour by a block wall. We share a common driveway and back area, mostly used for parking cars. Access downstairs is via an eXternal staircase. If you wish to rent the adjoining Bach, please contact bookabach# 21967.
We have made many wonderful memories with our families at Kramphouse and are willing to let you have the opportunity to do the same, trusting you to enjoy and look after the bach as you would your own.
