About Kaye Williams

I have been enjoying Hudson for over 40 years. My parents bought the lot from my aunt and uncle and then when both my parents passed away I bought it from my brothers and built a house here. I love the water and exploring all depths of it in and around where we are. I drive all our boats, fish, love to ski, sun and just hang out on the islands all day. I have 4 children that love the water as much as I do and 5 grandkids that are beginning to feel the same way...a couple are still a little young. I used to teach physical education, but now I am enjoying living in Hudson making beach crafts in my garage and selling them in my driveway. Also looking for new ideas...bring them with you if you have any please. I also substitute teach and I am a boat captain. I provide fishing charters or tours.

Kaye Williams purchased this mobile home in 2008

Why Kaye Williams chose Hudson

The rental is right next door to my home. I have a pool that my guests are welcome to use.

What makes this mobile home unique

There are numerous places to eat in walking distance to my place. There is an ice cream shop a block away that has karoke a couple nights a week. The beach is a block away. Two of the eating establishments on my road has live entertainment for dancing if you feel the urge. There are marinas a block either way where you can rent boats, go charter fishing or you can just take my kayak out and fish the flats yourself. I also provide charters in my boats. You are only 15 minutes from a Casino gambling boat and about 1 hour away from Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Tampa as well as Busch Gardens/Adventure Island. Orlando with all its attractions are about 2 hours away. Anclote Key is about a 30 minute drive in the boat and Caladesi Island (was ranked #1 beach in US) is about an hour away by boat or you can drive to Dunedin or Honeymoon Island and take a ferry boat there as well. There is just so much to do in Florida and we are centrally located smack dab in the middle just about. Scalloping is allowed from July through September north of Aripeka.

refund policy

  • 5 of 5

I am writing this review because I want all who is interested in this property to know that the owner Kaye is extremely professional and courteous as we got word that my friend who was splitting with me, as we are both single moms was going to need surgery again. We worried about the refund policy of our down payment.. Kaye was very prompt , courteous, and I can only say that because of the way we were treated because of this medical emergency we will look forward to doing business with her again.

not happy

  • 2 of 5

i have stayed at this rental three years in a row for a month at a time. I enjoyed the first 2 years, but not this time. 1. furniture worn out. 2 place was dirty especially the windows. 3 shower only gave hot water for a few minutes. 4 had a rat run across the floor . rat control boxes outside of property were checked and I was given rat poison for the insjde of the rental which I could not use for fear of poisoning my little dog. be carefu;ll before renting this place.

excellent location

  • 5 of 5

Had a great week here even though this was one of the wettest July's on record.

There is so much to do in Hudson...great shopping, thrift stores, bargain stores, shopping mall close by... ( Largest Goodwill store we had ever been to.) and a flea market just down the road.

Lively night entertainment, Karaoke bars, live bands...all within close proximity.

Great days trips to Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, Weeki Wachee.

The weather was terrible but it did not stop us getting outside and sitting in the Tikki hut...with a lovely view.

If you are looking for luxury, this is not it but it certainly met our needs and had everything you needed...

Fantastic value for money...It was a wonderful break from the city...and our little doggy loved it. ♥

A "GREAT" FAMILY VACATION

  • 5 of 5

Every year I like to plan a vacation for the 6 of us ( 5 adults and my grandson 12 yrs old) This was going to a NEW and FUN experience for all. So.... I called Kaye last Oct. , she was so helpful that I booked a week stay there for all of us. We checked in June 13 and checked out June 20 and that was one of the best trips ever!!! Something for all of us to do. Plenty of room for everyone. My children and grandson went on 2 separate days to Busch Gardens Tampa-which about 45 min away so they were able to drive back every night. Then on another day my husband went to Tarpon Springs to deep sea fish on the "two George's" while the rest of us went shopping at the sponge docks and had a Greek lunch at Mamas. Every morning and evening we spent our time in the Tiki Hut on the dock fishing and crabbing. Kaye told us about several fishing spots but we really enjoyed Bayport Pier. We walked down to Sam's and listened to the band and ate at "Get Hooked". Also we cooled down in the pool. Before leaving we even purchased a couple of her hand crafted art work. I have already talked to Kaye about reservations for next year-- and we can"t wait!! See you in June 2016!!!
