About this property

This unique historic property was the caretakers cottage for the main house. It still has the original structure in the bedroom and kitchen. The great room was added with a beautiful fireplace and deck out back to enjoy grilling and enjoying the peaceful sounds of the river. The river is a short walk from the cottage. You could bring your own kayak or rent one from Desota State Park at Desota Falls that is a short drive from the cottage. This property is located just minutes from Downtown Mentone. This is a one of a kind cottage with all the ambiance of its historic past but enough modern convenience for a really enjoyable stay. We love this place and hope that you will enjoy it also.

Wonderful Getaway

We absolutely loved the cottage. We were close to town but not in town. The log cabin village was amazing and the brow park. Everyone was so nice!!! We will be back to stay at the cottage.
