The entrance to the property is approached through the electric gates and the parking area, up a flight of stairs and across the south facing roof terrace which offers stunning views of the Solent and Isle of Wight. Lovely, central apartment in Lymington. Clean, nicely decorated and well-equipped kitchen.
We had a smashing four day stay in the apartment. Very central to leave the car and visit the shops and restaurants of Lymington. Used it as a base to explore the coast and the lovely beaches between Lymington and Christchurch. Brenda was very helpful and was happy to be contacted with any queries. Really appreciated the milk and biscuits that were there for us on arrival. Look forward to returning when we
next visit the area.
Excellent property, with private parking and very convenient for everything in Lymington
Island View is a lovely property to stay in. Very clean with everything you need for a full self catering holiday. With comfortable beds, high quality bed linen, and big fluffy towels, the main impression you have is that Brenda really cares about her guests comfort and enjoyment during their stay. The TV and WiFi are both very good too. The large sun terrace at the back ensures you have a good view towards the Isle of Wight and is the ideal place for a morning coffee or a G&T in the evening before going out. We found Brenda to be very helpful and quick to respond when booking which always bodes well in our view. We only had breakfast in and then ate out the rest of the time. But for self catering the shops and supermarkets are right on your doorstep, being only a few minutes walk. We found The Kings Head at the bottom of the High Street an excellent place to eat but very busy so would advise booking. Also the Haven Yacht Club does a very good breakfast and is open for lunch and dinner. Again it’s very busy so booking’s advised. Barton-on-Sea has a lovely restaurant called Pebble Beach which is well worth a visit for a treat, again bookings advised as it’s very busy. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and would return to Island View as well as having no hesitation to recommend it to others. Thank you Brenda for letting us stay in your beautiful property.

The property is ideally located in the high street and has everything you will require for your stay. The apartment is very well presented, warm and comfortable, makes you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door.

Lovely home in a great location
We are a family of 4 with a 15yr old & 17 yr old. Double room plus a room of 2 single beds was perfect. Beds were the most comfortable we’ve ever had in a rental property or hotel. The apartment was immaculate and the owner had thought of everything you could need. Kitchen was excellent, good quality pans, knives, appliances. The apartment/townhouse is on the main high street, above shops so very convenient for shops or walking down to the harbour. Off street parking easy. We would highly recommend this property and hope to come back another time.
We were here over xmas so most of the time the street was quiet but on the days that delivery trucks arrive early to the shops below then it’s quite noisy in the lounge and twin bedroom. There is an extensive Saturday market in the Main Street so the street becomes “one way” - to reach the apartment you need to enter the Main Street from the harbour end.

Lymington provides an ideal base for people with diverse interests. The roof terrace at the property will provide you with a suntrap for those lazy days when you just want peace and quiet. It is a very tranquil spot with stunning views. The town provides all the facilities you would expect of a bustling holiday destination, but within a five minute drive you can be out in the forest enjoying some of the best walking the country has to offer. Wildlife galore and dappled shade on hot summer days.
The best beaches can be found at Milford on Sea, or try Mudeford quay for authentic fishing atmosphere - and food. If you want to venture further, try the magnificent Hengistbury Head, the beach here stretches for miles and links up to Southbourne and Bournemouth. Ideal if you want a flat cycle trip.
