Prides Cottage sleeps four in two double bedrooms and is ideal for dogs with an enclosed garden. We believe it dates from the early 18th century and is Grade II listed. Short breaks available - please contact us
It has a bespoke kitchen/diner with beams, an old bread oven and an inglenook, as well as the mod cons of a Smeg fridge freezer and Aga Masterchef gas cooker with loads of utensils. The cosy beamed sitting room has a woodburner, window seat and beams. There is a shower room and toilet downstairs as well as an upstairs bathroom and mains gas central heating. The cottage has wifi, a delightful garden and garden room with bifold doors (and wifi) - ideal for relaxing when it is a bit too cold - or even too hot - to be outside! It is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty nestling under the Iron Age hillfort of Hambledon Hill and there are great walks from the door. It is an easy drive to the Jurassic Coast, Studland and Corfe Castle, as well as Salisbury, Bath, Dorchester and Sherborne. North Dorset has plenty to offer with the classic hill town of Shaftesbury and numerous pretty villages.
