The property is perfect! Very well furnished with all of the mod cons. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking and socialising. The bedrooms are nice and roomy with fantastic en-suites too. The whole place is fantastic and we will certainly be staying here again. Telling all my friends about this awesome find!!
Beautiful home in a wonderful setting.
All 8 adults had a very comfy stay. The barn is super roomy and all fininshed to a very high standard. The beds are very cosy, there is plenty of seating- both in the dining area and the sitting room. Lots of pots and pans for cooking, plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses! Looking forward to coming back again.
Great space for family. Really nicely done
Really enjoyed our stay. Even though the weather was wet there is great social space for the family.
Position wise its is perfectly in the countryside with easy access to the Dales and not long to the Lakes.
Thank you for your review, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay, and hope that you and your family visit us again one day. Best wishes Harriet

This is a wonderful place to stay. Spacious, very tastefully furnished and well equipped. Harriet and Ed have thought of everything. No detail overlooked.
We had a great stay doing some of Harriet's recommended walks and relaxing outside enjoying the views or inside with a fire

We will definitely return - we're already planning it!!
Beautiful barns and a relaxing location
We have recently stayed at Keld Barn and we all really enjoyed our stay. We were a family of eight adults wanting a peaceful relaxing weekend away, it were perfect for what we wanted. The barn has beautiful décor and is very spacious, we liked the fact that each bedroom has its own ensuite. The location is also beautiful, from every window there's a view of fields, so quiet. Thanks to Harriet we had the perfect stay and we hope to return again.
Our location is enviable, the barn looks out to the Pennines in the East, which often glow red in the evening light and by day the clouds dance their shadow across them; to the south you can see the marching army of Nine Standards where the Coast to Coast path crosses into Yorkshire and the Mallerstang Valley which holds the source of the River Eden; to the north and south is a rural idyll of farmland and woodland that hold bountiful wildlife from Roe Deer, Red Squirrel, Hare and Stoat to name but a few.
We are a few miles from the extended North Yorkshire National Park, which has endless walks, cycle rides and many other outdoor activities.
Nearby are cosy village pubs, to enjoy good local country fare. The local towns of Appleby and Kirkby Stephen are full of historical buildings, cafe's and gift shops.
If you fancy venturing further our nearest lake is Ullswater which is about 40 minutes bu car. Here you can climb, catch steam boats, sail or simply enjoy the views.
