RATED THE MOST DESIRABLE LOCATION IN THE PAPHOS AREA. This first/top floor apartment is located in a small gated development right on the shoreline. It has magnificent views across the blue Mediterranean. Be lulled to sleep by the lapping of the waves! The coast is west-facing and the sunsets across the sea are to be dreamed of. There is a reserved covered parking under the apartment. We ensure that there is a four hour spring clean between lettings. It is less than 20 yards to the swimming pool with its roman steps and paddling pool. Next to the swimming pool is a large area for sun-bathing overlooking the sea. Well behaved children are welcome.
There is a free superfast internet connection for your lap-top or tablet. If you know how to pick up UK TV on your lap-top or tablet there is a modern TV for you to connect to. We know how awkward it can be arriving perhaps at unsocial hours and needing a restorative cuppa so we supply a small self catering pack as standard to get you started: tea, instant coffee, evaporated milk, sugar and bottled water. In addition, at your request we can provide, for an extra 10 pounds, a welcome pack which typically includes: fruit juice (1 litre), eggs (6), bread (toast sliced), jam (small pot), spread or butter.
We also provide a manual which describes all you need to know about the practicalities of staying at Arcadia Village.
Cleaning, Laundry and smoking: Cleanliness is our watchword. The apartment gets a 4-hour spring-clean before each guest arrives. Sue (our housekeeper who lives locally) can do an interim clean if required. This is a non-smoking apartment. Guests are requested to refrain from smoking in the apartment.
Heating and Air conditioning : The cost of electricity is quite high in Cyprus. Please note that (unlike many other apartments) the rates include the costs of heating and air conditioning.

The walks along the coast are superb - in both directions. The views from the apartment (and balcony) are wonderful. There are some lovely restaurants nearby but nothing beats a meal on our balcony looking out to sea!

From the initial enquiry, to leaving this wonderful apartment, everything was perfect. The owner goes out of his way to help before you arrive, is at the end of the phone or an email, should you need help whilst there, and once you get there, well, what can I say?
If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, relaxing, friendly, near to the ‘hustle and bustle’ if you want it but far enough away not to notice, then this is the place to book in the Paphos, Cyprus area.
The pool area is excellent, the (small) beach is 20 metres away and empty, the (resident) neighbours are helpful and friendly and it is like going away to your own home. The kitchen is well equipped, the rooms are spacious and everything is spotless - oh, and the terrace is much bigger than it looks on the pictures. There is also a very helpful folder of information about the apartment, the local and wider area, and, if you don’t really want to cook - local and wider-afield restaurants. (Don’t miss Petros Family Restaurant - just about walkable - and excellent!)
Ok, I may sound like I’m effusing too much, but when you go away and have the best holiday you have ever been on, what else can you do?
A car is helpful (but not essential) and the (owner-recommended) Cy-Breeze were excellent: responsive, mid-priced and, if you intend to go ‘off road’, make sure you get a four-wheel drive. (Ignore the signposts; some Cypriot roads are NOT ‘suitable for all cars’.)
Overall, a really wonderful place to relax, unwind and enjoy the (hot!) Cypriot sunshine.

We found the apartment clean and well appointed. Air con at this time of the year was a life saver at least for the first few days while we acclimatised from the English "summer" to the Cypriot SUMMER !
You need a car to ensure you can enjoy all that is on offer. We found the food a little basic and repetitive but we did enjoy it for the first week. We did seek out some alternative (international) food and we can highly recommend the Chinese/Thai restaurant (many restaurants and places on interest named in the visitors handbook which was invaluable). Very comfortable pool area which actually felt you were on the front of a cruise liner given how close it is to the sea. The sea is unbelievably clear and warm but you will need to seek out sandy beaches.
All in all comfortable, secure, clean and a great base from which to explore Cyprus.

This apartment was just what we wanted for a relaxing short break. It was very well and thoughtfully equipped and the owners had provided lots of useful information to help us make the most of our trip.
It was very quiet when we were there in May and we woke to only the sound of waves and birdsong. Lovely.
The owners could not have been more helpful and efficient with our booking.
We didn't hire a car, but used the buses that travel along the coast from Paphos to Coral Bay. They are very frequent - and cheap!
We also enjoyed the walk up to Chorakas village and the recommended restaurant. It's a great view on the way back down!

Lovely apartment which was just as described. The apartment was clean, in a quiet location with great views. Just what we needed. Excellent communication with owner, who was very helpful.
Restaurant and shop close enough to walk to, but we hired a car for the week which enabled us to see more of the island.

What a great holiday we've just returned from in Cyprus (Sept/Oct 2011), a great time of the year, weather still hot but not those steamy nights! The apartment was just perfect, everything you could possibly want or need, great location, fabulous views, lovely pool and a bar not too far away for a stroll out in the evening although we would recommend a car to get the "hub" of things. This was by far the best apartment we have stayed at in the Paphos area and we've been coming to Cyprus for the last 16 years! Can't wait to make it 17...

we have just came back 16/ 3/2011 and had the best week ever, we did not want to come home, it was so home from home, lovely all you could ask for was there all very fresh and clean and safe,
i hope to go back if allowed, i had the best weeks sleep in years, we did not go out much at night as we felt at home thankyou, it was lovely
We are located in a small gated community right on the sea. It is about 800 yards from the main Paphos to Coral Bay road. There is a regular bus service into Paphos about 3 miles away. Fields of bananas, oranges, olives and figs are still interspersed in the locality. The unspoiled Akamas peninsular and the spectacular Troodos mountains are each just 1 hour's drive away. The ancient sites of Paphos are right on the doorstep - Tombs of the Kings, the ancient amphitheatre and the picturesque port dating back to the time of Ulysses. Cyprus has it all, from snow in the mountains in winter to glorious sunshine for most days of the year. Come and enjoy the natural hospitality of the Cypriots in their tavernas and fishing villages.

Golf: There is a driving range 1 km away. There are also several golf courses within 30 minutes drive.
