The open plan lounge area has a beamed ceiling, comfy sofas, coffee table, stone effect electric fire, flat screen TV andDVD player. Modern temperature controlled electric heating system in all rooms . The stable door leads out to the sunny courtyard with patio furniture.

The open plan kitchen has a range of contemporary style fitted units, new electric cooker, new fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and an ample supply of cutlery, crockery and pots & pans.

The master bedroom has a double bed with bedside tables, touch lamps with dimmer & fitted wardrobe.

The second bedroom has adult size bunk beds, fitted wardrobe, corner shelves, lamps & bedroom chair.

The bathroom has a matching suite with bath, electric power shower over bath, shower screen, basin, mirror, shelve, heater & WC.

There is a washing machine, ironing facilities and a clothes airer.

A hair dryer is provided.

A cot & high chair are available upon request.

Electricity, bed linen and towels are all included in the rental tariff.

There is a strict no smoking policy in the property, however smoking is permitted in the courtyard patio area.

Car parking is in an allocated space in a carport at the rear of the courtyard.

Granary Cottage is let from Saturday to Saturday, keys are made available from 4.00pm onwards on the first day of your holiday and the property is to be vacated by 10.30am on the last day of your holiday. Short Weekend and Midweek Breaks are available from September until June.

This is my dog Holly and me enjoying a walk in the Cornish Spring sunshine.

We've had many happy times in the cottage and the region when we visit with our family and friends. Our kids loved visiting as small children and now as young adults.

We holidayed in Cornwall for many years - it's one of our favourite places. That's why we decided to buy granary 10 years ago. Granary is peaceful and rural - the views of the stars are amazing - yet only a short drive into Bude for bars and restaurants

What makes this apartment unique

We love the location - in Cornwall and near to the Devon county border making it easy to explore both counties . we like the fact that we can walk up the lane to the pub for good food and drink or down the valley to the beach at Crackington

Lovely Cottage in a great area

Lovely cottage with great surroundings.

We arrived to a lovely clean cottage which was warm and charming on the beautiful May weekend.

We got to grips with the local area and went for some food at a pub which was 10 mins away. We would recommend this pub (the wainhouse)

It is close to local beaches which is perfect as we are dog walkers and they love the beach. We were able to take in the surroundings and then retreat to the cottage where we cooked a lovely meal in the kitchenette in the main room.

The beds were comfortable and clean and the bathroom surprisingly spotless (we don't normally get this lucky)

Overall we had a lovely trip and will be rebooking as this is a very good little getaway which is close to bude and not too far from padstow which is delightful. I would recommend this location and have done so to my family and friends

Great base

Cosy, clean cottage, all we needed for a Christmas break. Loses points for night storage heating, and having no heating (except a fan heater) in one bedroom. Quiet location, no troublesome neighbours.

Quaint and the perfect get away

Property was situated in a lovely, quiet hamlet and was a real get away from it all. It was just the right size for us and everything we needed was provided. Being an old property there were unfortunately lots of spiders, which my little boy wasn't too keen with! Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

Perfect holiday hideaway.

The cottage was exactly what I wanted - cosy, welcoming and the perfect place to relax. A superb quiet location with fabulous walks right on the doorstep. I also enjoyed the easy access to loads of great places up and down the coast. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

The perfect place for a quiet break

The coast and North Cornwall towns are also within easy reach.

We recommend a trip to Bude to eat at the Life's a Beach restaurant. Also, if you are willing to travel a bit further, Rick Stein's Bistro in Padstow is well worth a visit.

A lovely ground floor cottage in the quiet hamlet of Rosecare, on the North Cornwall Coast.

Ideal for four people.

Granary Cottage is a ground floor barn conversion set in an attractive courtyard by a pretty and tranquil village green. This very well presented coastal themed holiday property has two bedrooms (sleeping 4 guests + cot). There is doorstep walking and many beautiful beaches nearby Granary Cottage - ideal for surfing and bodyboarding. Granary Cottage

The Cornish Coastal Path passes about a mile away at Crackington.

The cottage is situated in the quiet hamlet of Rosecare. Crackington Haven Beach is just a short drive (or a longer walk) from Granary Cottage and is a beautiful cove, flanked by impressive cliffs. Lifeguards patrol the beach during the summer months. The large stretch of sand and pebble is bordered by low reefs with lots of rock pools to explore.

There is great surfing and body boarding all around with opportunities for new and experienced surfers and a surf school at Bude

The seaside town of Bude, with 2 large sandy beaches, patrolled by life guards in the summer, and a sea filled swimming pool is a short drive away . Bude has cycle hire, a surf school and a Tourist Information Office. A short drive will take you to the shops and attractions of Launceston, Camelford and the pretty coastal villages of Tintagel, Boscastle and Port Isaac . The Eden Project is just over one hour's drive away. Horseriding and many children's activities are available locally. Bodmin Moor with the historic Jamaica Inn and Dartmoor are close by, offering challenging hikes and shorter walks through beautiful and rugged scenary.

Historic Tintagel with links to the legends of King Arthur and ancient castle ruins are a short drive. Boscastle with its beautiful cove and cliff walks is worth seeing and has the famous and quirky museum of witchcraft.

St Gennys is a picturesque little village set 400 feet up on the cliffside just above Crackington Haven. It clings to the hillside & looks out to the impressive headland which drops sheer to the sea. Visit the 15th century Church in St Gennys & enjoy one of the finest views in North Cornwall to Bude Bay & Bristol Channel to where Lundy Island can be seen on a clear day.

Be sure to try a Cornish cream tea with locally made clotted cream during your stay.

There are farm parks and theme parks about an hours drive away.

• Rosecare lies one mile from the A39 and Wainhouse Corner, where there is a well stocked Post Office and general store which supplies local produce, milk, eggs, papers and most groceries.

•There is a garage and petrol station at Wainhouse Corner.

• There are two excellent pubs that offer a varied menu about a mile away, one at Wainhouse Corner and one at Crackington Haven. Both welcome children.
