The apartment have just been fully renewed, always maintaining the vintage details combined with all modern comforts. All installations are new: heating, air conditioning, Internet, satellite TV. You will have the opportunity to live a real Venetian vacation, going shopping at Rialto’s market and enjoying your spritz (a typical Venetian cocktail) and cicchetti (typical snacks) at the bacari of the area. We will send you a map. The apartment is at the first floor of a typical Venetian house located in a central and quiet position, the perfect accommodation to visit Venice. The ferry stop “Alilaguna”, from and to the airport, is just 5 minutes away on foot. Nearby the apartments you can find the ferry stop “Ca’ d’Oro” on the Grand Canal (to all directions), a supermarket, a chemist’s, many restaurants and bacari (typical Venetian taverns), a newsagent’s, the gondolino (i.e. a public service to cross the Grand Canal), all kind of shops, the Casino, noble palaces, exhibitions and art galleries.

Perfect apartment. Perfect location. Perfect hosts.
My husband and I stayed at this beautiful, clean and quaint apartment in a quiet and fantastic location of Venice October 11-18th. The apartment was absolutely perfect for the 2 of us and met every need. Not far at all from the Ca’D’Oro stop on the Vaparetto. We had traveled for the first time to Italy and Venice in January. Loved it so much that we decided to come back and have the luxury of staying in each city for at least a week.
Laura was wonderful in her communication with us, especially as it became closer to our arrival date. Luca was fantastic and met us on time at the Ca’D’Oro stop and guided us effortlessly to the apartment.
The apartment is on a wonderful street and there is so many things right here, especially a grocery store (Coop). I love to cook while in Italy and since we are retired we stay in the country, in different cities, for 6 weeks at a time. Therefore, a grocery store nearby and a well provided kitchen are a necessity. For me a few more cooking utensils and cookware would have been perfecto. The fridge was a great size. The addition of a washer/dryer a major plus for a long stay. The apartment was well appointed and architecturally. No detail overlooked.
We travel quite often and to various countries, having stayed in many apartments in many places and I can whole heartedly and without reservation that anyone looking for a beautiful place in a great location with a wonderful owner who met our every need.
This beautiful apartment in the perfect location cannot come with a higher recommendation.
Thank you Laura, Carmen and Luca for everything.
Really nice, quiet, spacious, convenient
All the things you want in a vacation apartment ... nice decor, large rooms, neat and clean, secure, on a quiet street, only a couple blocks from the Strada Nuova where there are lots of coffee shops, restaurants, retail businesses, a grocery and a couple pharmacies. The Ca' d'Oro vaporetto stop is only one more block down. The apartment was beautiful and had everything we needed EXCEPT ANY KIND OF COFFEE MAKER! But that's OK - those coffee shops are just 2 blocks away ... and one of them - Coffee Joint - actually sells 12 oz. American-style coffee. I'm glad we picked this place ... it was super nice.
Fantastic apartment in a fantastic location and exactly as described. Highly recommended
We loved this apartment and it’s great location and the owners were very responsive to our queries through the booking process. It was a very nice plus to have Luca meet us at the water bus and guide us the short distance to the apartment. We explored most on Venezia from here on foot. We also tried and enjoyed the chichettis at several of the nearby Baccoro’s-very fun and delicious. We didn’t cook in at all as we really enjoyed trying all the restaurants in the neighbourhood as we felt they were reasonably priced and very good quality. The restaurants closer to San Marco can be quite a bit more expensive. The apartment is on a quiet street but only a 2-3 minute walk to the busier area with restaurants and it is only about a 10 minute walk to the train station. We would highly recommend this property to our family and friends if they were travelling to Venezia.
Excellent Apartment in Great Location
This apartment was perfect for the two of us, and is beautifully designed and well equipped. It is also in an excellent location; on a quiet side street, but a block from the major Canarregio district Main Street Strada Nova. The Ca' D'Oro palazzo/museum is literally five minutes away, as is the Ca D'Oro vaporetto (water bus) stop. This property delivers outstanding value for money. We took the Alilaguna water ferry from the airport to the Fondamente Nove stop near the apartment, were met by the rep of the owners Luca as we got off the boat, and he guided us to the apartment and familiarized us with it. It bears mention, however, that the hot water heater was not on, and Luca did not mention it, so it took us a little sleuthing to press the On button on the unit just outside the bathroom. We actually turned the hot water heater off each morning after getting cleaned up and leaving and then fired it up quickly the next morning when we needed it. The washer/dryer was also a bit of a mystery, but we managed to get a couple loads done. These are minor items, however. This was a great place to stay, with lots of light coming through the big windows, and the look and feel of a thoughtful design and attention to detail. We would definitely stay here again!
Perfect place to stay in Venice
It was wonderful that we were met at the Valporetta stop and escorted to the apartment. It was very comfortable, quiet, well equipped, good bed, and had a good A/C. The location was perfect: a few blocks from all the activity but in a very quiet place.
great location and apartment
We had a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend. Very nice apartment and appliances. Good water pressure, hot water, and air conditioning. Quiet and safe neighborhood near restaurants, shops and public transportation.
Ruga do Pozzi is a sunny and large calle (typical venetian street) with two peculiar wells in the middle. In ancient times, it used to be the most important meeting place in the area. As you can read in the public sign, this corner of Venice is called “Isola di Ruga do Pozzi” (Ruga do Pozzi Island) since it is enclosed by four canals: the marvellous Santa Sofia’s canal with its beautiful bridges and the taxi stop on demand, the Sant’Andrea’s canal crossed by a bridge which you can see from the apartment “Ca’ 2 pozzi”, the Dolce’s canal which you can see from “Ca’ del Canal” and a forth smaller canal.
