About Ilan and Veronika Morris

My wife and I currently own and manage a total of six Prague apartments. We bought our first Prague apartment in 2004 and since then we have made a further two purchases. We started focusing on short-term rentals in 2008 after renovating our first apartment, the four-bedroom 97558).

We also sublease three apartments in lessor and Old Town and view leasing as an important way to expand our business. It enables us to focus on the most prime locations in the city that boast spectacular and unique views of some of Prague’s most iconic attractions.

My wife has 10 years experience in high-level hotel management and her experience in this sector has proved invaluable in professionalizing our business. All our apartments are renovated and/or decorated with a boutique style, using authentic, antique and vintage furnishings collected and added by my wife.

We take great time and care acquiring our furnishings in an effort to create a unique and original experience for our customers. We feel it is important to differentiate ourselves from the ‘four walls and Ikea furniture’ format which is standard in many holiday-let apartments in Prague.

We prefer to focus on a lower number of apartments so that we can maintain and develop each of them with an attention to detail true to our boutique style and principles of quality over quantity.

Our apartments are cleaned and maintained to the highest level and our improvements in both comfort and decor are ongoing. Since we started in 2008 our six apartments have acquired 360 five star reviews on HomeAway and average five stars across two other major sites with additional 300 reviews.

In future we would like to expand our portfolio taking on more renovation projects which focus on converting historical apartments into high-performing holiday rentals. All our renovations aim to capture the spirit and character of the building/ apartment being restored and we only take on projects where we feel this can be achieved to the highest end.

This is an exceptionally large one-bedroom apartment. The extra space adds a great deal of extra comfort to spread out in. There is a lot of natural light which streams through the window into the hall and living room making this a delightful choice for couples or families. The location is in the very heart of Old Town with all attractions walking distance.

What makes this apartment unique

The extra space (90 squ m/1001 sq feet) decorated with elegant vintage furnishings, is a real pleasure to relax in. There are views from the windows of st Giles Church and also a private garden ideal for enjoying a coffee in the morning in tranquil surroundings. The location in Prague most sought after area of Old Town (stare Mesto) simply could not be more central allowing easy access to all major attractions by foot.

Best apartment in Prague!

We had a great experience in Prague mostly due to this apartment. The location could not have been better and check-in was very smooth (and we arrived late in the evening). Lots of space for everybody with comfortable bed and two bathrooms. I definitely recommend!

Spacious, comfortable, excellent location - apartment in Old Town

We have been renting international apartments for over 10 years and this rates as one of the top picks. Lots of room in this centrally located apartment with an excellent morning coffee place just around the corner. Host was generous with information about restaurants and markets nearby. Location was ideal as after a morning of sightseeing we could go to the apartment and rest before going out again for the evening. We had breakfast in the sunny kitchen/dining area every morning. We enjoyed getting fresh fruits from the street markets. We would definitely recommend this apartment to others.

excellent apartment in all respects: location, space, cleanliness

Ilan and Veronika were terrific in their pre-arrival communication. We are seasoned, senior travellers and they were very helpful with our luggage to and from the 2nd floor apartment. The location and the lay out of the apartment are excellent. Surprisingly quiet with all the bustle around. Right in the middle of Old Town. We walked everywhere. Tesco food market is three minutes away and it is a full service food hall right by the subway system; it could not be more convenient. The beds and linens were of excellent quality. We were there for six days and the time flew by with no problems. Would recommend this apartment in the strongest terms.

The property was right in the center of Old Town. We were on a quiet little square that felt very private. A one minute walk and we were right in the center of Prague. The property was clean and comfortable.

Wonderful stay

Ilan & Veronika offer a wonderful experience in this remarkably spacious and beautifully decorated apartment. The check in greeting we received from Ilan on arrival was perfect. He gave us a great advice about places to visit in Prague, money changing, shopping transport and tours.

The kitchen was very well equipped as were all of the other rooms. The bed was very comfortable.

Long before our arrival, we exchanged emails, asking for our bedding preferences, the best way to get from the train station to the apartment. This couple really did go the extra mile, even to the point of arranging our taxi to the airport on our departure.

After having used a few internet booked apartments, this one really did deliver on all that it advertised on the web site.

It's a long way from Sydney, but if we are ever back in Prague, these hosts offerings would be our first choice.
