About Holly Hatch

Hello! We are Lonnie and Lori. We love the ocean and have always dreamed about having a place to get-away and relax. We are really excited to share our home with you and hope that your stay will be very memorable.

What makes this condo unique

The view is our favorite part of our home. We can sit for hours and watch the water and there is always something changing. Of course we are always on the look out for whales, but watching the surfers at the end of the beach and even the fisherman has become quite entertaining. At night we crack open the sliding door and listen to the soothing sound of the ocean. During crabbing season there are a lot of boats out at night that have big lights and you can see the crew working. Vacations are meant to be relaxing and replenishing so we tried to capture the sprit of that in our home and it feels great to us. We furnished it with comfortable but modern furnishings, left clutter to a minimum, and let the view take center stage. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.

37th wedding anniversary getaway

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I were very pleased with our stay at your condo, everything was clean, neat and well kept and of course the views were amazing. We hadn't been to the ocean in many years and as we walked in the front door looking down the hall there it was, unloaded the truck and headed down the trail OMgoodness what fun. we were curios to know how long all of the driftwood/logs have been along the beach, it made it very hard to get close to the water. The only suggestion we had might be to let people know what is provided such as coffee and creamer and a few other things like that. We stopped at Fred Meyers and picked up some groceries on the way to the condo only to find the same items in the cabinets. We plan on making this a once a year visit from now on. Thank you.

Very relaxing

  • 5 of 5

The view is fantastic . The place has all the amenities one needs for a comfortable stay. It's quiet and clean. The only thing I would have done differently is bring some firewood for the fireplace.

Beautiful View!

  • 4 of 5

This was our first VRBO experience and it was great! The condo was clean and fully equipped...stocked with all the things we would need for fixing our own meals, coffee for the coffee pot, a fire log for our first fire, and a bag of ice in the freezer to get us started...small things that I never would have thought of, but were perfect! The view was amazing with gigantic windows and a balcony to enjoy the ocean from! Access to the ocean was close and the sound of the waves crashing drowned out any noise that may have come from the highway. The condo is gated which provided an element of security. The games in the closet provided some entertainment for our stormy weekend...we even left one of our own for future guests.

Best views we've had!

  • 5 of 5

We've stayed at many places with "ocean-front" views, but we've never had a better view than this property offered. The minute we walked in, our jaws dropped! We didn't have to go anywhere to enjoy the site and sounds of the ocean. This property is close to the highway, but it was hard to distinguish the sound of cars from ocean waves when inside; on the balcony it was more noticeable. The hike down to the beach was beautiful, with all kinds of wildflowers and wildlife (we saw bunnies, all kinds of birds, and deer). It was strenuous coming back up, but we didn't mind as it gave us a good workout. Rainbow Rock is such an amazing formation and my kids had a lot of fun running through the cave and climbing the nearby rocks. The condo itself was well-equipped with soft towels, blankets, and a fully stocked kitchen, which was nice since we ate most of our meals at the condo (no restaurant had a view like this!). Half way through our visit, we opened up the balcony storage and found the BBQ and camp chairs, and we wish we had noticed them earlier. We also didn't notice the firelog left for us to burn in the fireplace until we were packing up to leave. It would have been nice to have a fire in the fireplace. (I guess we should have been nosier.) The furniture is a bit sparse in the living area, the surfaces and decor are dated, and there were some minor maintenance issues (some cabinets wouldn't close as they should, the sprayer in the sink wouldn't work, it looked a little scary under the sink), but we didn't mind because it was otherwise very clean, and the view trumped everything.
