Considered an outstanding Studio at The Whaler, A+ Designer Remodeled, Spectacular Views of entire Bay of Black Rock, Ocean, Molokai & West Maui Mountains.

Please note the OwnerWebsite has posted renovation dates Aug 15 - Dec 15, 2016 of the one story Lobby building [at the back of the Courtyard, between the two 12 story Towers]. They expect demo noise, especially in the first two months. Being closer to the oceanfront on the North [Black Rock] side of Tower 1 [not Courtyard], should be less disruptive.

The Whaler is the only Condo resort on Kaanapali Beach located 50 feet from the ocean front with the white sand swimming beach, rated one of the 10 Best, of the 'Worlds Best Beaches' and Maui's #1 best beach.

This luxury unit is located in the quiet part of the complex, on the most private side of Tower 1. Being on the North side of the complex, the condo does not look into other units across the courtyard, and is 2 floors above the hotel next door. The 14 'stack' are the closest Studios to the ocean front. Lull yourself to sleep with the sound of the surf.

Providing maximum comfort and peace, the Lanai balcony has outstanding views of the Ocean, Black Rock, Molokai, Winter Humpback Whales, Summer Sunsets, and the ever present Maui Rainbows, while enjoying a sunny morning breakfast, afternoon shade, and Black Rock's nightly torch lighting.

Totally remodeled including all new Light Maple cabinetry throughout the Kitchen, Bath, Vanity and Walk-in Closet with 'California Closet' style system of drawers, cubbies, hanging storage and luggage rack.

Professionally decorated, and furnished 'Island style'. Expanded to a 'U shape', the full size enlarged, totally equipped Kitchen has paneled Sub Zero Frig/Ice & Bosch dishwasher. Granite countertops in the Kitchen and in the Vanity dressing area with it's mirror surround. The ceilings have been raised and custom lighting installed in the kitchen and vanity with designer lighting throughout the rest of the unit.

Large flat screen HDTV, 5 speaker Home Theater System with CD/DVD/I Pod Docking station, library of CD's, DVD's, Books, etc.

From the King bed, with the most comfortable mattress [top-of-line, as used at The Ritz], the Ocean is reflected in the floor to ceiling mirrors.

Desk if you must work; upgraded secure WIFI with private secure password for this unit only.

The Whaler has free Washer/Dryer's on every floor. They are located near the elevator bank, across from the trash shute.

Beginning April 2016 a Resort Fee of $16/night is paid to the Front Desk at checkout, increasing to $17/night April 1, 2017

As a guest at The Whaler for over 20 years, I wanted my own 'home-away-from home'. The Whaler condominium property is unique in that it is on Maui's #1 beach, and has great new tennis courts. Right outside your doorstep, The Whaler location is convenient for ocean front swimming and snorkeling, 2 golf courses, many restaurants, and world class shopping next door at Whalers Village, which also has an ABC convenience market. The great snorkel beach at Black Rock is just steps away. The Whaler Condo/Hotel with front desk services, activities/concierge service, business center, bell desk, gym, sauna, and salon, meets every travelers needs.

What makes this condo unique

Wonderfully upgraded, totally remodeled and designer furnished, the intimate lanai has and a spectacular view of the entire bay of Black Rock.

During winter months, you can watch the whale migration from the lanai.

The expanded full size kitchen is a pleasure to work in, with the ocean reflected in the mirror wall.

Impressive view with privacy...perfect for couple

Our stay in Marianne's condo was ideal. The location was great, and besides the outstanding view, the lanai had a feeling of privacy. The decor and layout of the furnishings were lovely. Very clean and updated. We felt so comfortable, like we could be at home. Everything we needed was available and easy to find. Comparing the condo to a hotel room, I'd say it's 1000 times better! This was a fabulous find, and we are eager to return. Mahalo Marianne!

Perfect condo for Kaanapali Beach stay

Excellent location - short walk to restaurants at Whalers Village, snorkeling at Black Rock, and gorgeous beach.

Pictures of the condo can't do it justice. Very nice on the inside with the most beautiful view from the lanai. The condo had absolutely everything we needed including beach chairs and cooler. The grounds of the Whaler are impeccably maintained and the pool was a nice size with plenty of chairs.

Marianne was wonderful to work with and everything from reservations to check in and check out went very smoothly. I would absolutely stay in this condo again and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.

Exceeded our expectations!

This property was exactly what we were looking for and exceeded our expectations! We chose this property because of the awesome reviews and photos on the site. We Snorkeled twice a day and this location can't be any better for all your needs. We loved everything about it and we will book this specific studio on our next trip to Maui. The view of Black Rock was one of the requirements we wanted and this studio had just that. The kitchen had everything we needed and more! The bed was super comfortable just like I'd hoped for. The underground parking right near the elevators was really convenient for bringing groceries up. The studio is just across from the elevators and garbage chute. Thank you Marianne for your quick responses to our questions and your honest representation of this beautiful property! We can't wait to return :-)

Our first trip to Maui and we just happened to find this 814 listing while searching in the Whaler site since we were to meet up with my sister there. WE thought that everything they said about this unit sounded OK but were "blown away" when we walked into this condo and saw the view and all the furnishings which were all modern and oh so comfortable. Almost hate to say so many positives about this site since we want it available the next time we can return.

Perfect! Exceeded expectations! Would rent again in a heart beat.

We stayed in the Whaler unit #814 for 1 week. From the moment we walked through the door we knew it was going to be wonderful. Marianne was quick to respond to emails and very easy to work with from the beginning to the end. Check-in was a breeze, secure parking is located underground with access to shopping carts for hauling groceries and supplies to the room. The unit was well stocked with many extras including - beach chairs, cooler, kitchen supplies, wifi, books, island music, etc. The unit was well maintained and very clean. You can tell the owners take pride in their unit as the quality of the products/storage space/appliances were top notch and in perfect working condition. We cooked almost every night in the unit and found the kitchen was well thought out for a rental unit. From pots and pans to storage containers and a few spices it was perfect for our week away from home.

The location of the unit was great, right on the beach and easy access to everything in the area. We walked every morning and night as walking trails are abundant within the local area.

We would DEFINITELY rent this unit again. 5 stars in our book and easily one of the best properties we have stayed at during our many visits to Maui over the last 15 years.

Beautiful Condo

Thank you so much to Marianne for her prompt correspondence and her what you see is what you get condo on Kaanapali Beach in Maui. My wife and I stayed here for a week in late November, 2015, and were thrilled by the accommodations. The Whaler complex is centrally located and affords great snorkeling right off shore. Marianne's condo is beautifully appointed with the finest upgrades and its lanai offers a comfortable respite for those nights where you want to just sit back and enjoy a glass of wine. Great views all around and also easy to work with. Should we venture back to Maui, we already know where we'll be staying! Thanks again!

Kaanapali Beach has fantastic snorkeling in the Bay of Black Rock, in front of the Sheraton Hotel to the North. The beach is Maui's #1 beach and one of the 10 best beaches in the world. Walk to Whalers Village shopping center and restaurants next door on the South side of Tower 2. From our super most private location on the North side of Tower 1, we do not have cooking smells from the restaurants, nor the very early morning trash and delivery trucks to Whalers Village.
