Cozy waterfront cabin with sleeping loft (queen bed) and extra bed in living area (futon). . Stunning sunsets from this delightful waterfront cabin located amongst graceful Fir trees and Madronas - home to Eagles, Osprey, Woodpeckers, ducks, seagulls and seals. Take a walk down the unique, hand-hewn driftwood stairs to the rocky beach, or build a fire in the fire pit and relax while watching the sun set over. One guest said, 'This is like living in a National Forest on the water.'
This is the perfect setting for romance or a quiet best-friends getaway. There is nothing quite so pleasant as sitting around the firepit, rain or shine, watching the sun set, grilling steak or roasting schmoors.
Inside, the loft hosts a queen bed. Additional sleeping area is in the combination kitchen, living-room on a comfortable double futon - all with views to the water through the native-landscaped yard.
The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, particularly on weekends. The best of the Pacific Northwest: tall Firs, Madronnas, and Cedar trees filled with birdlife.
Downtown La Conner is known for its antiquing, fine restaurants and local artists.
So, bring your s'mores and hot dogs, jeans and flip-flops for a day (or a week or a month - we encourage longer-term renters too) at the beach. Step back to a tranquil and simpler place and time.

We fell in love with it.
Such a lovely and relaxing stay at this magical cabin, gorgeous sunsets and peaceful atmosphere. Thank you for renting this cabin out; we will be back in the future!
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a short get-away from the city. The cabin was lovey, really just like the photos. I was a little sad to see just how close the neighbors were, but they were very quiet (maybe not home at all) and it turned out to not be a problem at all. The view from the house is amazing. Most of the day we were here was cloudy, so we didn't see much. But the clouds broke just enough for sunset, and what a treat that was! Thanks so much to the owners for sharing such a special place!
Spent a wonderfully restful 3 days here. Beyond our voices we generally only heard waves and birds. Cabin offers everything you need, including binoculars, games, and a beautifully written memoir by Patrick Lane (as well as several other reading selections). If you're an out-of-towner, be sure to check out Mt. Erie (all viewpoints) and Adrift (dog-friendly restaurant), both in Anacortes. .
My girlfriend and I spent 2 nights here and we loved every second of it. The views from the house and the property are spectacular and we were a short drive from all kinds of activities. We'll be looking to come back for sure!
We are educators and needed a place to get away from it all during our Christmas break. This property definitely fit our needs! The accommodations were nice, the view was fantastic and quiet was very welcome. It was fun visiting La Conner and Anacortes where shops and historical sites were easily walked to. The Rock Fish Grill in Anacortes was Bueno!
Very quiet, very peaceful place to relax. Post card views all around, local folks were friendly and helpful. Great place for a couple to get away from it all. Have already looked at booking this cabin in the summer season. You'll be pleasantly surprised with this pick of a place to stay. Enjoy!!
We only wish we could have stayed longer. Took our dogs and they loved the swim. Beautiful sunset and cozy cabin was perfect for the two of us to escape the big city.
We will be back and we are telling all of our friends. Looking forward to visiting this summer.
