Traditionally decorated throughout, this cottage offers comfort and provides an ideal retreat for a romantic getaway or somewhere for a small family to enjoy time together, with many wonderful things to see and do nearby. This cosy cottage has two charming bedrooms, one of which is located on the upper mezzanine floor and offers spectacular views of the sea and surrounding region. The small but well-equipped kitchen caters for all your needs and after an evening of wining and dining, you can kick back and share stories in front of the woodburner before getting a good night’s rest in preparation for the following day’s activities. Located just a few yards from your cottage is Coonanna harbour, a stunning, secluded bay where the Atlantic gently grazes the mainland, decorated with pretty fishing boats. The area is peaceful and unspoilt, offering many wonderful walks and cycling routes. The vibrant market town of Cahersiveen is located on the famous Ring of Kerry and is home to colourful shops, pubs and restaurants, where local seafood must be sampled! Culture and tradition have a strong reputation here in Cahersiveen, with plenty of pubs showcasing live traditional music. From Cahersiveen, there are many things to see and do within easy reach including boat trips to the magnificent Skelligs, Valentia Island, Rossbeigh Beach and the quaint seaside village of Waterville. All of these and much more are on the doorstep of this cottage.
