HOME DESCRIPTION:

Location is everything when you are on vacation and this condo is in the BEST location you could possibly wish for! Located right in the Embarcadero (Morro Bay’s bayside commercial area), this vacation rental gives you the best of all worlds. When you walk out of this 6-unit complex you will have many restaurants, bars and shops available to choose from – all within a few minutes’ walk! But when you are in the condo, you will experience the quietness of the bay with only the occasional barking seal breaking the silence. The views are absolutely amazing and entertaining! Watch the sailboats bob up and down; see the kayakers glide through the water; observe the seals and otters and shorebirds as they play in their natural habitat. You won’t want to leave the deck! From the complex you will have access to a dock and a waterside walkway (future). If this one is booked, see the other units available in this same complex: VRBO #512230 and VRBO #512743.

You will be just as thrilled with the inside of this condo. The whole complex will be completed in November, 2013 so everything is brand new and fresh! The owners have furnished it with good quality, comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator and oven with everything you need to prepare a nice lunch or dinner after a day of vacationing on the central coast. Both the living room and bedroom are heated with energy-efficient gas fireplaces built into the wall, adding ambiance as well as warmth for your enjoyment.

The bedroom has a queen-size bed, a large flat-screen TV and plenty of closet space. The living room also has a large TV and a comfortable sleeper sofa that makes into a queen-size bed. The spacious bathroom has both a tub and shower. The decorator colors and touches throughout the home create a relaxing, light-filled and comfy setting to hang out in.

Quite Modern and Clean Condo in the Heart of Morro Bay with Spectacular Views

The Harborfront 2 Condo, Unit #2, is an exceptional property. It's patio faces Morro Bay and Morro Rock with spectacular views of boats, seals, sea lions, paddle boarders, and kayakers as well as Morro Rock. We stayed 3 nights and each night we were out on the patio sitting in the rocking chairs just enjoying the scenery and all that was going on in the Bay. The unit is ultra modern and had we needed. Kitchen is well equipped with all the utensils, dishes, pots and pans and cooking ware needed. Large sofa in living room folds out to make a nice queen sleeper. Gas fireplaces in the living room and bedroom. Full bath was modern with nice walk in shower with bench. Second 1/2 bathroom was also modern and very clean. Bedroom had a nice and comfortable queen bed (good mattress), plenty of closet space and windows with nice shades. Parking was down below in a private garage. All entry was electronic for both the garage and the unit which I liked. The unit is located right on the Embarcadero which is the main beach community with many stores, restaurants and rental (paddle board and kayak) agencies. Great fresh fish markets.

This is a very upscale excellent unit and I highly recommend it. I shall return in the future.

Sea smells and sounds

Love being directly on the water in the harbor. The sounds of the sea lions and watching the otters is so wonderful We have stayed here twice now and will definelty be back.

Great condo on the water!

This is a great property. Everything is new and the unit was incredibly clean! Every detail is considered from the foil, storage bags and coffee filters to the laundry detergent and dryer sheets. Got in late after a long drive and was so happy to walk in and see every detail is handled. The laundry room is shared, outside the unit. Onsite parking in a secure garage. Flat screen TV in both the bedroom and living room with a beautiful fully equipped kitchen. Two fireplaces and ceiling fans! Nice patio with Weber grill to watch the sunset and Morro rock...I will definitely book again! And the location is perfect! I travel extensively for work and the property managers have thought of everything!

Clean property with beautiful views. Can walk to all shopping and restaurants.

Unfortunately it was a rainy weekend and we had to cut our stay short due to issues at our home. I highly recommend this home for a long weekend get-away. We will definitely go back when the weather is nicer.

This area offers many activities and attractions including Hearst Castle (20 miles). Outdoor activities abound such as kayaking, deep sea fishing, hiking, biking, surfing. Morro Bay has many small boutiques, antique stores and art galleries when you are ready to shop. The central coast produces wonderful wine so wine tasting is a must do. There are several different wine regions - Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria and some wineries nearer the coast.
