Cabin sleeps from one to four persons. Slide into the indoor jacuzzi tub for relaxing while watching the big screen TV or step out onto the very private and secluded deck for a dip in the hotub before retiring for the evening to the King Size Bed in the Master Suite.

About Pamela Boyette

Hi Everybody - thank you for your interest in Rustic Elegance - we like many others bought the cabin as an investment for our future - then the economy went south - but we are hard working folks just trying to make ends meet and love to get away to the cabin for some peace and quiet away from it all! Hope you decide to stay with us and take some time to stop and smell the roses!

Pamela Boyette purchased this cabin in 2006

Why Pamela Boyette chose Tennessee

We love the location of our cabin in that it is sooooooo convenient to both Pigeon Forge (just 6 miles straight down Dollywood Lane) and Gatlinburg (10 miles) - you can use the back roads of Teaster and Veterans Blvd to beat all the traffic to get back to the tranquility of the cabin yet be right in the mix within minutes!

What makes this cabin unique

We love the woods surrounding cabin - the seclusion away from everybody and everything - it always feels like a special getaway just the two of us! The cabin is great for a couple or a small family - the hottub on the back porch is great to relax in while enjoying nature around you everywhere!

Guestbook comments from the owner

Our family enjoyed our vacation in Rustic Elegance! Close enough to enjoy all the "madness" of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and far enough away to relax in peace and quiet! It was wonderful just to sit out on the rockers with a cup of coffee, the only sounds, nature.

My family loved this little cabin! Very clean, easy to get to, centrally located and all at a great price to allow our family to enjoy without breaking the bank!! This is perfect place for small family or couple. Someone had mentioned in a previous post the road was rough getting up to this cabin, we had no trouble at all! I would recommend some instructions for the fire place for those like us who have never used gas log but other than that all was perfect! Will absolutely be back to stay again!!

We had an amazing time in the smokies and will definitely be returning soon.

Our cabin was very nice. It was clean and inviting when we arrived after a long trip on the road. The location was perfect with amazing views of the mountains off the back deck. The owner was extremely nice and easily contacted with any questions we had. Out trip was exactly the way we had envisioned it to be and it will definitely not be our last time in TN.

Thanks so much

Beauty Amidst The Ashes

  • 5 of 5

We weren't sure our trip was going to go thru a week before our scheduled time due to the fires that hit the Gatlinburg area, but we're so thankful that we went anyway, despite the concern. We had a fabulous time!! This beautiful cabin was far away from where the fires were, so there was no sign of them anywhere. (of course, they were all under control by the time we arrive too). But enough about the fires. :) We loved be nestled up in the woods in this cabin. We were the only ones around. None of the other places had any occupants. So it was soooo quiet. It was perfect for our family of 3. We enjoyed eating in, the jacuzzi, the pool table, and we sat by the fire and even watch some Christmas movies. It was chilly outside, but nice and cozy inside. You will love this cabin and everything about it. We did go into Pigeon Forge one day for a few hours. We even saw the Christmas light show at Shadrachs and our little 8 month old got to see Santa for his first time and did wonderful!! This is a great light show if you get a chance to see it! Walmart was only 15 minutes away and obviously has anything you need. There's also a gas station market 2 minutes down the road that has many items as well if you need something quick. We did go to Gatlinburg for a few hours and saw some of the fire damage, which was sad, but fortunately it didn't affect the downtown area very much, which is where all the tourists were. We loved our stay at Rustic Elegance and would love to come back for a stay in the future. We recommend it to anyone! Thanks again for Pamela's hospitality and the wonderful experience

Owner not helpful, ok house

  • 3 of 5

We spent a weekend in December shortly after the neighbor city of Gaitlinburg was evacuated due to wild fires. I looked online and didn't see any wild fires around the cabin, but when I asked the owner if the smoke would be too heavy, she said "I don't know, I don't live in Tennessee". Seriously? Even if she doesn't live in TN, she has a management company or at least a cleaning company taking care of the house. I only didn't cancel the reservation because I wouldn't have time to get another house in time. When we got there, we learned from the neighbors that there were wild fires 3 miles away from the cabin. So because of the owner's lack of willingness to help, we could have been put in a dangerous situation. Thankfully it rained a lot so everything was under control. To get there, be careful when using GPS (even Google maps) because it will take yo to a private road (the owner should have made that clear in the ad). You should look for Lilly Road in Google maps and then follow the instructions the ad has. The house is suitable for a couple and not more than that, due to its open floor plan. The jacuzzi is in the living room, so one more reason that this is a cabin for a couple only. When we were filling the jacuzzi we ran out of hot water before the very end, so the water was lukewarm. It was in the morning and we hadn't used the hot water that day yet. I guess the tank is small. The living room is nice and comfortable. The bedroom is small but the king size bed is pretty good. The bathroom/bedroom/living room were all cleaned and didn't have any smell. The kitchen had some stains but was otherwise clean. The appliances are very old and the cookware was cheap and old. We cooked very simple meals, though. The hot tub didn't have a cover, so the water wasn't clean. We spent most of our time in the living room so we ended up having a good time anyway, but I wouldn't go back.

The perfect cabin

  • 5 of 5

Perfect location if you like to be close to everything, yet secluded. Cabin is clean, we'll maintained and if there are issues, they are fixed immediately. I highly recommend this cabin and I hardly ever leave reviews.
