Overview

Bryngwran Barn Rental Photos and Description

2 double (ensuite),1 twin, and sleeping deck, Main bathroom. Sleeps 8(+2)

Watermill cottage is situated on the edge of Bryngwran village on the Isle of Anglesey, it's a fantastic location for outdoor and active vacations during all seasons, or just relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

The cottage has recently been sympathetically converted from an old stone barn, to a spacious cottage offering superb accommodation of an exceptionally high standard. It's been tastefully and thoughtfully decorated and furnished and has plenty of character, such as the wooden and slate flooring, exposed stone walls and large oak beams, a particular feature in the living area. The cottage benefits from its own secluded terraced garden with a patio and barbecue area at the back of the house, whilst at the front there is room for three cars to park amply in their own private area.

Suitability:
  • children welcome
  • non smoking only
  • pets considered
  • suitable for elderly or infirm
  • wheelchair accessible

Guestbook comments from the owner

Just dropping you a line to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at the cottage last week. The weather wasn’t great (windy!!!), but everything else was lovely.

Getting back to the cottage after being buffeted on the beach was a joy! The accommodation is of a superb standard, so cozy and welcoming - it felt like a real home from home to all of us.

We won’t hesitate to come again next year!

A lovely family holiday

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed are stay at Watermill cottage with the family and grandparents, lovely spacious cottage with beautiful views. We easpically enjoyed playing board games around the table after a lovely family meal or a barbecue in front of the property. Only 5 minute drive to a big retail park and so many lovely town to visit. Alison was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend watermill cottage.

Good stay had by all on Anglesey

  • 5 of 5

Watermill Cottage was very well presented, all was ready and very impressive for our stay, arrangements all worked fine, very straightforward and hassle free. The property had everything we needed or could reasonably have asked for, plenty of room, bathrooms, kitchen gear, hot water, wi-fi etc. Excellent barbecue out front in interesting garden, competely unoverlooked with a view of sunset over the fields, lots of seats for lots of us!

Great for a big group.

Lots to do in the area, I cant recommend the Tuesday foot passenger return to Dublin on Tuesdays for £5.50 too highly!

Brilliant Cosy Cottage, Highly recommended!!!

  • 5 of 5

The cottage was very clean and modern, it had everything you would need. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped and you could make any meal you like. Even a dishwasher and a few amenities such as tea bags and coffee.

The living area and bedrooms are cosy and very well designed. The neighbour is very helpful and friendly and there are farm lanes which are nice for walking. It is easily accessible with parking.

I would highly recommend this cottage and would definitely stay again whenever visiting Anglesey.

Anglesey holiday

  • 5 of 5

Had a great stay at Watermill cottage. Accommodation is clean very well equipped and the kitchen dining living room is great in the evening. Although not a lot in the village the accommodation is ideally located close to beaches. For years I have driven through Anglesey to catch the ferry to Ireland without stopping to explore, what a fool, Anglesey is a beautiful island with lots to do and see. Recommend a walk on the Belgian promenade beside Menai bridge and also a fishing trip with Gareth on his boat Spindrift (Holyhead marina), this was the highlight for my children, 14 and 9

A lovely break!

  • 5 of 5

A lovely,clean,well-equipped cottage near main roads but nevertheless peaceful. We were too late in the year to enjoy the beaches but had a lovely time exploring castles on the nearby mainland.

Anglesey has over 650 miles of footpaths which enable you to discover and explore the 120 miles of coastline, including sandy beaches and rocky headland. Much of this coastline is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, or owned by the National Trust, it's hardly surprising then that 25 per cent of the award-winning beaches in Wales are on Anglesey.

You'll find a whole host of sea related activities to enjoy, there's sailing, sea fishing, Kite and windsurfing and canoeing. For those of you who are a little less 'thrill-seeking' the miles of wonderful footpaths will enable you to discover the vast variety of wildlife which thrives on the island, especially the bird population, whilst fantastic views of the distant Snowdonian mountains can be seen at some points. The property makes for an ideal base from which to explore all this and more.

Other Activities: Snowdonia national park approximately 30 mins drive

Anglesey named the second best place within the UK to go on holiday:-
