About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms + Loft, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 6)

Just 60 minutes north of Seattle, nestled between the world-renowned San Juan Islands and beautiful Skagit Valley, the La Conner Cabin on Skagit Bay (a.k.a. Sunset Beach House) is perfectly located for an endless variety of activities. Take a walk along the shores of the Bay, bike through the tulip fields, ferry to the islands, kayak into town, head to the slopes for a day of skiing and boarding, shop and eat to your heart’s content or just sit back, relax and watch the wildlife. Whatever your desire, La Conner and the surrounding areas offer endless possibilities.

With two bedrooms, a cozy loft, one full bath and covered waterfront patio, the La Conner Cabin makes for a comfortable back-to-nature lifestyle. The Cabin is located across the famed Rainbow Bridge on Fidalgo Island and just minutes from the quaint waterfront village of La Conner as well as Anacortes, gateway to the San Juan Islands. The home sits on an elevated location with stunning views of Skagit Bay, Whidbey Island, and the Olympic Mountains. In keeping with its natural surroundings, The Cabin is distinctively furnished in a style that gives it a comfortable, rustic quality.

The master bedroom features a king size bed and the second bedroom features one queen over queen log bunk bed. There is an additional queen mattress in the loft. The well-appointed kitchen is fully equipped and ready for your inner chef to come out. The kitchen area is open to the living area with wonderful views, great for entertaining.

For your comfort two fireplaces are available, one gas fireplace inside, and one wood-burning brick fireplace outdoors under the covered patio. Come and enjoy the best of both worlds, the great outdoors with all the creature comforts of home.

Fantastic

  • 5 of 5

This was a spectacular place to stay. Kitchen and bath and bedrooms well appointed. The view from the main living area and master bedroom were amazing. The view off of the covered deck with a built in fire place, the best. We will return here. Almost didn't want to give a review because I don't want anyone to know about this gem. La Conner is gorgeous and a great town for shopping and the restaurants were excellent. Erin the owner was really super to chat with, she shared all kinds of tips with me.

Nice cabin

Loved this place. Right on the water and close to good birding spots and great little towns. Comfy bed and amenities. Nice and quiet. Lots of stars at night. Thanks for sharing your place.

Spectacular location, intimate cabin

  • 5 of 5

Erinn's getaway is a well maintained, fun and functional rustic-style cabin that quickly makes you feel at home. The view into the bay is beautiful, and the cabin is surprisingly packed with amenities and even came with a bundle of wood for use in the patio fireplace. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked for those that dine in, and the town of La Conner sports a variety of eateries of surprisingly great quality. We ate in tpwn at Nell Thorn's, the Brewery, and built our own Bloody Mary's at Amelia's. All were delicious! Spent a relaxing afternoon strolling the shops, wine tasting, and enjoying the charm of La Conner and the shop keepers. I would not hesitate to stay here again, especially given its accessibility to the greater Seattle area. Thanks for your attention to details and making it such a great weekend Erinn! - Mike

Tranquill Retreat

  • 5 of 5

We had an extended stay on Fidalgo Island for work and the La Conner Cabin made it feel like a vacation. Our two adult children joined us for a holiday weekend and we all had a great time. It is cozy and comfortable and the view is breathtaking. I secretly don't want to share, but this place is a little piece of heaven on the Salish Sea. The owner is terrific and if you have a chance to get there we highly recommend it. The fields in the valley host hundreds and hundreds of swans and snow geese in the winter and that is truly a sight to see. I'm sure the tulips will be just as spectacular in the spring. If you're looking for a beautiful water view, a cozy comfortable space, and convenient access to local island offerings, then book now!

First timers

  • 4 of 5

This was our first time renting a home, and it will not be our last.It took a day to feel comfortable but after that we did not want to leave, This is a beautiful spot and so quiet. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The only thing if you plan on watching the game there is only a 14" T.V. and with our bad eye sight made it hard to see and enjoy. Other than that everything was perfect, We hope to come back again sometime.
