Thank you for taking a look at the Woodruff Family Condo! We offer a beautiful, spacious and light-filled 3-bedroom, 3.5 bath condominium which sleeps up to 9 people. Completely remodeled in 2009, the condo is finished in a modern international style with rich chestnut leather furniture and stunning black and white nature photography by Utah’s James Kay.

The condo faces out onto a public golf course (X-C track in winter) and has a spectacular view of the mountains. It functions as a great vacation spot year round, with amenities typically found in five star resorts.

We like to cook, so the gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and features granite countertops, custom cabinets, and a large island with barstools at one end, perfect for socializing and entertaining. If somebody in your party is into craft cocktails, we provide a full suite of equipment and bitters, so all you have to supply is the liquor! A beautiful alderwood dining table expands to seat as many as 12 people.

Two living areas, one with a sleeper sofa, allow for multiple activities, and both are equipped with TV’s. Each of the three separate bedroom suites has an ensuite bath, plus there is a luxurious powder room off the kitchen. Two of the bedrooms have king-sized beds, while the third bedroom has a raised platform where two twins can be made up separately or together into a king.

Upstairs in the hallway is a bench seat and storage unit which functions as our 'Bachelor Pad.' This sleeping area features a light, a niche, and a power socket at each end of a comfortable cushion measuring nearly 10' by 3' with a storage space below for one's suitcase. This is perfect for a big guy (really big) in a sleeping bag or two kids sleeping feet-to-feet. We have linens and a memory-foam mattress to make the Bachelor Pad up like a regular bed if that is your preference.

Other amenities include limestone radiant heat floors, water softener, 46” HDTV with blueray and HD cable, ipod docking station and surround sound, woodburning fireplace, wireless & hardwire internet, king Tempurpedic bed in master, euro bath fixtures, large walk-in double shower in master bath, designer furniture, and a large washer/dryer. Condo complex offers a 40' outdoor heated pool, two large hot-tubs, and separate sauna, shower & locker rooms for men & women.

Our condo presents a beautiful and quiet backdrop for artists from the film industry and professionals from related industries to conduct business, entertain, ski, relax, and otherwise enjoy the FilmFest.

Our location is ideal: if you are walking, it's 60 seconds to the bus-stop or the pool and hot-tub complex. We're right across the street from Albertson's grocery store, a drugstore, a Blockbuster, a Starbucks, a massage place and a two or three ski rental stores. By car, we're a couple minutes from the base plaza of the Park City Mountain Resort, five minutes from Deer Valley's base plaza, and maybe eight minutes from The Canyons. You can ski home from the Park City Mountain Resort if you're willing to take your skis off to cross a road and skate & pole home via the golf course and its cross-country ski track.

If you like to ski, check this out: our latest addition is the dream solution for folks who go nuts when 'those other guys' leave their wet jackets and ski accessories laying all over the place!

This amenity is a custom staging center designed to store, dry, and otherwise manage all the stuff that eight skiers need for skiing!! Whether you're gearing up in the morning, shedding wet stuff after a big day, welcoming a bunch of guests, or anything in between, this staging center handles it all. It's convenient, inviting, easy to use and super effective.

There's eight of everything: ventilated baskets (each with a chalk-board nameplate) stored overhead & out of the way; 'staghorn' hooks each featuring three separate hooks, and a forced-air drying system (with auto-shutoff) for 8 pairs of boots and gloves.

There's also a convenient little shelf for emptying your hands, a place to stash empty equipment bags, a nook for safely handling your wet skis or board, and a bar if you prefer to use a coat hanger. Plus, when you expand the dining table to seat 12, the benches are designed and sized to pull out and provide seating for two at each end of the table. Check out the picture!

PS: Well, if you've read this far, it means you're interested enough to learn some of the particulars of our rental scheme. Here goes: The nightly rental rates stated below do not include State Taxes of 10.45% or our cleaning fee of $170-$275 (depends on the length of visit and the number of people in your party); these are added in to get an all-in cost. We also ask our visitors to sign a rental agreement and post a damage deposit which is returned after your visit. This deposit can amount to nearly half of the total base rental fee but not less than $800.

"We thoroughly enjoyed this comfortable, centrally located and designer-decorated ski home. It's great for entertaining: a large island & fully equipped gourmet kitchen (great spice collection!), plus a suite of bar tools & bitters that invigorated our craft-cocktail guy and a killer A/V system. In fact, it was so nice to cook and play in the condo that we only went to a restaurant once during our entire stay.

Seven of us spent an epic week in this meticulously prepared condo, skiing and touring Park City. Outside, there was automated lighting and covered space for our two cars. Inside, the gang wasted no time digging into the snacks and wine comprising our welcome basket. After skiing (and before, too!), the thoughtful set-up for handling our prodigious collection of ski stuff was appreciated by all. Everybody loved their extremely comfortable beds and fully stocked bathrooms. Since we could all play our iPhone music into the surround-sound speakers, the Bluetooth receiver in A/V system was a big hit, as was the WiFi speed, channel lineup, and crazy collection of games, puzzles and blue-ray movies. The bus-stop was as advertised: a 90-second walk from our condo. The Clubhouse and Pool Complex, a lesser distance yet, were an impressive and welcomed respite: a large gathering area, plus changing rooms, showers, saunas, and a large outdoor pool with 2 large hot-tubs nearby.

The host was very responsive, clearly a detail guy intent upon delivering a superb guest experience and very successful in doing exactly that. He provides a full set of instructions and other info, including area recommendations. We hope to return soon and we absolutely, positively, recommend this condo to other travelers."

Great Condo, that is nicely appointed and centrally located

Mike's condo is as advertised, and worked great for our group of 7 adults (3 couples and a single) for a 4 night / 5 day stay. Per the other reviews and Mike's detailed description, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need to cook a 3-course meal, with the groceries you can buy 50 yards away. In the morning when it was time to work-off the feast from the night before, simply hop on the bus at the stop that's is ~50 ft from the front door or walk up the road to the lifts, roughly 7-10 minutes away. We choose to walk which served as a nice warm before cranking turns on the mountain. Either way you have options — We rented a car, but you really don't need one.

Additionally, the sleeping situation worked well for us, as the "Bachelor Pad" is great for a solo person. That being said, I think you could make (4) couples work pretty easily, with the sleeper sofa being an option downstairs and or by utilizing the extra space in the upstairs loft area. In my opinion it's a great 3 bedroom option with space for more. Especially considering the cost of a 4 bedroom rental being substantially more in my experience.

All in all it was a great place to stay. I'll definitely stay here again when visiting Park City.

Another Epic Holiday at The Woodruff PC Condo!

Per usual, the condo was well stocked with necessities and all made up for our family to have fun, slow down and relax for the holiday. We had a fabulous time! As we always do we cook as a family, because the Woodruff's have the dream vacation kitchen and we love to cook! The location is the best! So many places you can walk to, the grocery store, eateries, bakeries and even downtown Main Street if you like a brisk 15 minutes walk! The condo is very family friendly and arranged perfectly for family game time and movies!. Happy New Year! Mike & Catherine and Thank you again!

Use of Condo for Executive Conference

We utilized the condo for a brief executive conference for five people --- three out-of-town and two locals. After an early afternoon arrival and informal discussions, we purchase food, prepared an excellent dinner and engaged in conversations well into the night. The kitchen and dining area were an excellent location for our discussions. Three guests remained and had further discussions after the two local participants departed and then stayed the night. The bedrooms were very comfortable, well appointed and supplied with basic necessities and were very clean and neat. Overall the condo was very nicely decorated, very function and comfortable and provided exactly the prefect atmosphere for our executive retreat. It is furnished with quality throughout and has a very "homey" feel. While we did not have time for any recreation time, I know from prior visits to Park City that it would be an excellent place and location to have additional time. I would highly recommend this location and would return again.

Excellent - more than we expected!

The condo is very large and has been updated to a very high standard. The owner is great and has thought through every detail. The kitchen is crazy nice and extremely well equipped. We enjoyed the real wood fireplace, home theater system, location, hot tub and having so many comforts of home available. My highest rating.

The location of the Woodruff Family Condo is truly superb. It is close to the resorts, shopping, a bus-stop, and to the amenities of the Park Avenue Condominium complex itself.

Proximity to resorts:

By car, we are 0.5 miles (2 minutes) from the base plaza of Park City Mountain resort, 2.4 miles (8 minutes) from Deer Valley’s lower base plaza, 3.4 miles (10 minutes) from the Canyons, 40 miles from Snowbird and Alta, and 43 miles from Solitude and Brighton

It’s worth noting that your car is completely under shelter at our condo, so you won’t have to clean snow off after a big dump of the white stuff.

Since the condo faces out onto a golf course which becomes a cross-country ski track in the winter, you can actually ski home from Park City Mountain Resort. This involves skiing down past the lower terminus of the Three Kings Lift to Silver King Drive, taking off your skis to cross the street, getting up onto the x-c track, and then a 5 minute skate & pole to the back of our condo. For what it’s worth, once you cross Silver King Drive it takes about ten minutes to walk from the condo via street & sidewalk.

Proximity to shopping

The Fresh Market is a very large grocery store within easy walking distance across Park Avenue, about 3 minutes by foot. Plus, once you get onto its parking lot, many conveniences are within a minute or three on foot, including Blockbuster, RiteAid Pharmacy, Starbucks, Burger King, the Holiday Village Cinema (4 screens), two or three ski shops with full rentals, Knead A Massage (great therapists & about a dozen tables), a UPS center, a couple of banks, and a liquor store.

The condo is exactly one mile from the bottom of Main Street. It’s uphill all the way to Main Street, but an easy walk home.

Proximity to Amenities

The condo is about 60 paces from the condo to a sheltered bus stop, and about 70 paces from the pool and hot-tub complex (includes a 40’ outdoor heated pool and two large hot-tubs, plus separate saunas, showers, and changing rooms for men and women. The condo opens out onto the Park City Golf Course, which becomes a cross-country ski track when covered with snow.

The Bus System

Park City's bus system and service are excellent. From the shelter near our condo, the winter bus schedule makes seven pickups per hour at 10, 16, 30, 36, 40, 50, and 56 minutes after the hour. Again, the Condo is 60 paces from this sheltered bus stop. In total, two bus stops are immediately adjacent to the complex with two more immediately adjacent but directly across the streets which border the complex.
