Relax on the upstairs deck (or swing on the downstairs deck) and soak in that beautiful view, sip your favorite drink, watch the sunset and listen to the sweet sound of Tweetsie's train whistle, or the distant chime of our church bells floating through the mountain air as you plan the next day's activities: HIKING/BIKING the BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY and MILES OF HIKING/BIKING TRAILS! (We are 1 mile from Parkway. ) Then, there's shopping in Boone or Blowing Rock (5-7 minutes to each!), rafting, High Gravity ropes course, Grandfather Mountain, gem mining, ax throwing, several wineries, Tweetsie's Wild West Theme Park, great restaurants...or just keep sipping!!!

Perfect Location!

We had a great stay! The view from the back deck was beautiful and the location was convenient to anything we needed. We were in town to ski and loved being close enough to come and go when we needed a break! The space was great and the hosts were so thoughtful to leave welcome treats and recommendations for the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing accommodations!

This was the perfect place to stay for a quick getaway in the mountains. Our hosts were so accommodating, leaving us cookies and wine and meeting us at the house upon check-in to show us around. The place was cozy and comfortable, and our littles got a kick out of being able to hear the Tweetsie train whistle and see the lights in the distance. Couldn’t beat the location either - a short ride up and down the windy mountain but otherwise so close to Tweetsie and the perfect distance between Boone and Blowing Rock. We would love to come back for future stays!
