Happy Family

  • 4 of 5

We had a great stay here! The house is newish and comfortable with plenty of room. All furniture, kitchen items and appliances are in great condition and stylish. The outdoor barbecue was fully equipped with propane and ready for grilling - we didn't have to do a thing. My kids loved the closely river and park - we swam every day during the hot spell that happened while we were visiting.

My Only complaint would be that there was no soap in the showers and bathtubs - we had to go to the store and buy our own which was a bit inconvenient. Also - there were shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel dispensers in the master shower that were filled with water. I didn't realize this until I was taking a shower and couldn't really get clean.

Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay, will definitely come back, and highly recommend this peaceful and well-maintained property!

Great CDA, Posta Falls Stay!

  • 5 of 5

This was a great find! Super clean, nice linens, towels, back yard area, peaceful, close to the river, quiet, wonderful amenities, awesome area restaurants, close to CDA Resort. We loved hiking trails and Q'Emlin Park at the river.

Biking, hiking and climbing were tops. We also liked the proximity to the Kroc center for more family activities. The house was awesome and we loved staying. We are returning soon! Thank you so much. Jas and Chad

Lovely home, right next to hiking trails

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 3 months and absolutely loved it. The home is very large and spacious with a sizeable kitchen. Very well-maintained and honestly one of the nicest homes in the neighborhood. The neighbors are friendly and the area is nice and quiet.

A park by the river, complete with hiking trails is literally a 2 min walk away - we went every day. The A1 supermarket is a short 5 min drive with a great selection of organic produce. There is so an organic deli called Tree of Life 5 mins away. Liberty Lake National Forest is 15 mins away. And of course Coeur d'alene is even closer. Interesting to note that we originally wanted to rent in Coeur d'alene but after driving around changed our mind. The houses are generally older and more run down. It was honestly nicer and quieter here, yet super close.

The owner is super nice and easy to communicate with. All in all, this was a pleasant and totally stress free stay. We even came back for 1 more month in September before finding a home.

Great Location

  • 5 of 5

My family was having a reunion over at the Red Lion Hotel across the river. My husband and I were not interested in staying there because we like more space for our family of 4. We decided to rent a VRBO rental unit. This home was perfect. The family picnic was located at the park 2 blocks away, and the banquet was located just across the river. We stayed in the home with another couple and it was great to visit over coffee. The home has an open floor plan that we truly enjoyed. We had plenty of room to feel comfortable instead of feeling cramped in a hotel room. This house was everything we needed for our stay. Thank you for having us in your vacation home.

Summer Stay

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time at Parkview Cottage and would gladly recommend it. It is in close proximity to the river, the City and Spokane making it an ideal holiday location. Our whole family enjoyed the stay including my parents visiting from Germany. Thank you so much for providing such a great home. Have a great day! Thanks, Thomas.

Great Place to Stay - July 2010

  • 5 of 5

Never having been to Idaho, I rented this home for myself and my two teenagers and was far from being disappointed.....the house was a great place to stay. Lots of space, adequately supplied, very clean and we lacked nothing at all. There were extra supplies in the bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room. There was a barbeque that we could use, deck chairs and even chairs for the beach. The bedrooms were large, lots of linens and could easily accomodate 6 people.

It is located in a very quiet area, on a very large piece of property and only a five minute walk to the local beach and park which became a great place to float away the afternoon and enjoy the sun. There were many good restaurants nearby...The White House Grill and Hunters were our favorites. The freeway was less than five minutes away. The house was half way between Coeur D'Alene (10 minutes away) and Spokane Valley (15 minutes away) which was very convenient. Heading east within Post Falls was also a shopping mall with a large Walmart, restaurants, car wash etc and heading west there was a Cabela's (large sporting store) both ten minutes away.

The owner, Tom, was a great resource, very kind and helpful. The local property manager Russ was also very accomodating, easily accessed and always ready to help.

I would definitely recommend this property without any hesitation at all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
