Why Paul Hudson chose Rockport

We owned a smaller house in Rockport since 1979 and have always loved the atmosphere of the town. Key Allegro is the most vibrant community in Rockport and this house in particular is stunningly beautiful and comfortable – open and airy – it just has a wonderful feel. It was way above our price range, but once we saw it, we couldn’t live without it!

Everything about the home was ideal for our group. Beautiful views, stunning sunsets, fun fishing off the piers, abundant kitchen supplies for delicious meals, blissful kayaking, waterfront walks and comfortable furnishings. Great memories were created and we'd definitely come back again.

Beautiful home with a beautiful view

  • 4 of 5

We LOVED the view of the water in the front, and being on the canal in the back. The home was beautiful as well. If I could make a suggestion, it would be that it needs TV's in all bedrooms. There was a flat screen in the bedroom with the bunk beds, and an old TV in the master (with dead batteries in the remote) but the other 3 bedrooms had no TV's. The master bathroom also did not have any washcloths in it, but that was probably just an oversight on housekeeping's part. Otherwise, our stay was just perfect and I highly recommend this house and location!

Owner's Response: Thanks for the review. We have resisted putting TV's in all the bedrooms because when we are there, we are always out and about enjoying all that Rockport has to offer. But we will be replacing that old TV in the master bedroom with a new flat screen soon. I always hate throwing away things that work perfectly well, but I think it's time for that one! Sorry about the dead batteries in the remote and the oversight on the washcloths in the master bathroom. I will mention that to the housekeepers. We appreciate the feedback. Hope you'll join us again and give us a chance to earn a 5-star review.

Amazing Home!

My buddies and I loved staying here for our annual fishing and hunting trip. All of us had plenty of space and the owners/managers were very accommodating. Can't wait to go back.

What a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the views of all the water. My sisters, brother, and spouses stayed at this magnificent home over a weekend and it was not long enough. It was great for each couple to have their own room and bathroom and we didn't have to share like in the old days! While the weather was extremely hot and humid but it did not effect us at all considering the openness of the main part of the house and views of the water out every window. Coffee on the upstairs balcony in the mornings was great and the sunsets were breathtaking. We have already started planning another trip back very soon.

Relax in Rockport

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 13 stayed at this property for 4 days, in early August, 2016 and simply loved it!. The stay was so very relaxing and to have the family together under one roof sitting directly one the bay was great. This property has it all, 5 bedrooms, sun room , great dining room looking over the water, wonderful kitchen (with commercial ice maker!) and the best great room ever. We loved the home and the area, we felt at home and welcomed, so much so we have already booked for 2017, for a week! Rockport is a great family vacation spot, with great weather, fishing from your own private pier, swimming in the very nice pool, great beaches, shopping and maybe best of all the food (great restaurants). I and my family would definitely recommend this property and this owner, to any family looking for a relaxing family vacation.

Best vacation rental so far!

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful house, great location! The house is so nice that we did not feel going out. Private pier, kayaking and fishing in the backyard and beautiful sunset in the front yard with sea view noting more to ask 😄򑀮 The house has everything you want. Not a complain but would be nice to have a better cooking range and exhaust (my wife likes cooking on vacations) saying that this should not be a show stopper just something the owners may want to know for future upgrades 😄򑀮 overall 5 star living 👍𣐼􎿻👍𣐼􎿻. Will I go again? 100% yes
