Each level is a large self-contained apartment. It can therefore be rented as a whole or as individual apartments. Ideal for large parties, families and friends sharing but with enough space not be in each other’s way. The villa is situated near the village of Akbel, which is 4km from Kalkan centre. The villa has the most amazing views of all of Kalkan. Set in a very quiet location just a few minutes walk from the local shops in the village of Akbel. There is a regular dolmus (bus) service, which runs every half hour into Kalkan centre so getting to/from the villa is not a problem. As the property caters for larger groups, each level is self-contained with a fully fitted kitchen and lounge area. Within walking discount of local shops and small Turkish cafes, as well as the local Sunday market.

Spacious and with great sights!
Our group of 14 really enjoyed the days we spent at the villa. It is as advertised, and we appreciated the many communal spaces - kitchens, living rooms and especially the terraces (there is one on every floor!) and the pool.
The views are amazing. It is really worth the 3-4 hr drive from Antalya, one gets disconnected from real life :-)
Special thanks to Louise who intermediated our contact with the host and helped arrange the shuttles to and from airport, as well as offering recommendations in town. Very responsive service, all in all.
Thank you Noemi, it was great to meet you and I'm glad you were pleased with everything. Kind regards Louise
The Villa is a 4-minute bus ride away to centre of Kalkan & the local beach & harbour. The dolmus runs frequently between Akbel and Kalkan so getting to/from the centre isn’t a problem. Patara beach is a 15-minute drive (11km) away it’s about 17km of beautiful golden sand. Truly unspoilt as it's a turtle nesting ground and is a protected area. Kaputas beach (9km) can also be reached using the dolmus.
Dalaman Airport is approximately 2 hours (129km) away and Antalya airport approx. 3 hours (210km) away. Transfers are either in an air-conditioned car or mini bus and can be arranged for you. We can also arrange car hire at excellent rates.
Kalkan is situated on the Turquoise coast between the towns of Fethiye and Kas. Nestled in a bay at the foot of the Taurus Mountains. Th aerea affords spectacular sea and mountain views. There are many areas of historical and geographical interest within a short driving distance. Patara, Xanthos, Tlos, Myra and Saklikent gorge, approx. 1 hour away. Kas center (the next village along the coast) 23km. Antalya city center 210km.
The village of Akbel offers real Turkish hospitality, as well as a local shop and a bustling market every Sunday. Kalkan’s centre is a little maze of cobbled streets and bougainvillea covered houses and shops. At night Kalkan comes alive as people come down to the centre to dine at one of the many excellent restaurants, many have roof terraces with superb views of the bay. After dinner you can relax at one of the bars. Kalkan has several banks with cash points, post office, supermarkets, the usual array of shops selling jewellery, carpets, shoes/handbags, clothes, ceramics, paintings and of course Turkish delight.
