Luxury four bedroom traditional French House set in a beautiful rural village
- english, french
About Helen Allan
I grew up in Wales and now live in leafy Knutsford with regular visits to my daughter who lives in Toulouse. I am self-employed. We have spent many wonderful holidays in Oupia over the years with friends and family and now my young grandchildren.
Helen Allan purchased this House in 1998
Why Helen Allan chose Oupia
I watched the mist rise over the Canal du Midi to be replaced by brilliant sunshine illuminating the grandeur of the Languedoc.
What makes this House unique
The house is very typically French with lovely views stretching across the vineyards to the Montagne Noir. The beautiful sunsets and twinkling lights of the villages in the distance are almost magical when viewed form the top terrace (overlooking the pool) Just wonderful!

Great Holiday Home
Lovely house and pool, great location. Very well equipped and comfortable. Would love to come back!
Thank you very much for your kind review. We look forward to welcoming you again in the future
Beautiful house. Clean, well appointed and good layout. The village is perfectly situated I a very friendly village with great wine from the chateau. We certainly appreciated the air con and pool with the high temperatures! And there was a lovely welcome pack. A lovely place.
Just spent a wonderful 11 nights in no 13 Rue de Mairee, house well appointed with lovely touches on our arrival - bread, cheese, wine! Rooms airy and beds very comfortable and the pool was perfect for the hot days we had during our stay. The village is quiet but in easy reach of the town of Olonzac for the supermarket and more restaurants however the local restaurant in the village was superb - great food and friendly service. Lovely lady in the Epicerie too. Good location for sightseeing and easy reach of the beaches too. Thoroughly recommend for couples and families alike. And a thank you to Derek for his local knowledge which was great too as well as his prompt mending of a leaky tap.....
Beautiful, well equipped, comfortable and fantastically located property
Thank you for your review. I'm pleased that you had a good holiday and hope to welcome you here again.
The house is amazing
This is our 2nd visit to this house & we weren't disappointed. It's a lovely house, has everything you need, the swimming pool is brilliant. We love it & our 3 young children love the house and swimming pool. It's in a quiet village with a friendly local shop. The chateau is worth a visit too!
Perfect area for exploring but also great to just relax around the pool. Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely home!
