Surrounded by suggestive views of venetian tile roof and bell towers, this 4th floor magnificently renovated penthouse has two double bedrooms, two full bathrooms and a large living area with a large sectional sofa that converts in more sleeping beds. Famous Venice architect Giulio Lattuada transformed the penthouse of this XVII century building into a stylish renovation, introducing state of the art amenities yet re-utilizing original venetian materials and techniques. Furniture is a mix of original antiques and design pieces complemented by art pieces hanging in all the rooms. Enjoy the buzz of the colorful fresh food market one minute away or negotiate the selection of the catch of the day at the near by fish market directly from local fishermen. Ideal for unforgettable staying for one or two couples or family with kids, sleeps up to six people.

We found this appt on-line after a number of searches. We had hopped to stay in the San Marco area of Venice. The appt was a great place to sleep, clean up (great showers), do some laundry, and generally regroup to travel through Venice. It is centrally located and is near some good restaurants and coffee shops, even a grocery. The property mgr was excellent and helped us find our way around the maze of streets in Venice. They were also helpful in getting us lined out for payment of the room. If we go back we would definitely seek out this place.
Great apartment close to everything. Great for a family with kids. The two baths were great and the kids liked the loft. All the comforts of home only steps away from the Market and Rialto Bridge. Great suggestions and directions upon check in as well..
Would be happy to stay again if we are ever lucky enough to go back to Venice. Thanks for the hospitality...
We traveled with a family of 4 including two teens. The space was perfectly located. Great location to walk for croissants and bread in the morning for breakfast. The apartment was spacious and the main bedroom was set away from the living space so a nice retreat if needed. The teens loved staying in the loft space and it was great to have the second bathroom. We all gathered on the large couch at then end of touring the city. It was a perfect place in a beautiful city!
The apartment was spacious enough to accommodate my family (5 of us total, 3 young kids). Bed for 2 in master, double mattress in loft, and sofa/bed in living room. Did not use kitchen, but seemed reasonably equipped. There was a small ant problem despite us not having any food. Good to have 2 bthrms, but one of the bathroom shower stalls so tiny, that no normal size adult could use. Water pressure lousy. Despite all this, I would still stay there again and recommend to friends. The location was phenomenal for a first time visitor. About 50 yds from Grand Canal, and the incredible fish market. Plenty of good bars and restaurants nearby. Very close to Vaporetto and Rialto Bridge and a 15 min stroll to St Marks Plaza.
We had a wonderful two nights here. The unit is spacious and a nice mix of old and new. The stairs in the building are a lot with luggage, but the owner is upfront about that so it wasn't a surprise. The location is really great, we loved the fish and produce market in the morning, it is a very short walk to the Rialto Bridge, the Grand Canal, and San Marco.
In the adjoining square, we found a small cafe that opens at 6 a.m. for early risers looking for cappuccino! Also in the square is a good restaurant which was in the tour books, Trattoria al Nonno.
The apartment is also steps to the canal so getting a water taxi or walking from one is very easy.
Erica was so lovely and provided a map as well as wonderful information from her perspective, taking us away from the usual touristy places, which of course were very crowded. The apartment was very clean and fresh. The shower hot/cold function was not consistent, leaving me to take a super fast shower, but the bathroom was a really good size and who wants to waste valuable time showering anyway while in such a great place!!
