Kanai A Nalu has been rated The Best Vacation Property in Ma'alaea. Spectacular ocean vistas are guaranteed in this specially designed condominium building. This CORNER UNIT #417 faces the ocean and has a lanai featuring uninterrupted views of Ma'alaea Bay, Kihei, Wailea, Makena, Upcountry and Haleakala. Spectacular whale watching from the lanai during whale season. Plus, you can watch the sun come up over Haleakala (Maui's dormant volcano, which rises 10,000 feet above sea level.

The complex is CENTRALLY LOCATED on Maui. It's approximately 1/2 mile from the Aquarium, the harbor, grocery store, restaurants and shops. Our condo is on a dead-end street so there is very little traffic and it is very QUIET. There is absolutely no traffic noise from the main road in our unit. You can enjoy deep relaxation inside or on the lanai, at the sandy beach or at the beautifully manicured lawn with tropical landscaping downstairs.

When you first enter, you will be greeted with the magnificent view of the ocean beyond the living room. Not many condos are available this close to a sandy beach, where you can swim or snorkel....RIGHT IN FRONT of the building (weather and ocean conditions permitting). In the morning, you can take a walk along the quiet sandy beach (miles long toward Kihei). This is possibly the most uncrowded beach on Maui. There is also a government protected Wildlife area near the beach for endangered sea turtles, so no development is allowed here. This is for sure one of Maui's finest beaches!

*Kanai A Nalu #417 has a new California King Tempurpedic bed in the Master bedroom and now has a King bed in the second bedroom also. Condo sleeps 4 maximum.

Enjoy breakfast on your lanai and if you keep your eyes on the sea, you can do some whale watching at the same time. Go for a swim in the deep blue ocean that is only a few steps away, or stretch out by the pool. Do you like to take a stroll along the beach? Well, you can do that too, it goes on for miles in complete serenity.

What makes this condo unique

5 miles of uncrowded beach, whale watching in Maalaea Bay which is the Humpback Whale calving and breeding grounds during the winter months (November through April) right in front of the property! Ocean swimming, boogie boarding and surfing (during south swells), and windsurfing! The Pacific Whale foundation is a 10 minute walk from the property so you can walk to your whale watch tour, or take educational classes without a car! Their is a charming local store called 'Tradewinds' 5 minutes by foot, for local meat, fruits and vegetables, liquor. Their fruit cup is a must!

Great condo getaway!

We had a party of 4 that stayed in this condo for a week. We really enjoyed it! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and the outdoor space was perfect. We used the beach multiple times as it was just a few steps away. The views from the condo were incredible! The condo was clean and the AC helped keep it cool. I would definitely recommend this condo and would be happy to stay there again.

A little bit of paradise!

This is our third visit to Kanai a Nalu but our first stay in your condo. We have to say this is our new favorite. Just can't get a better view of the ocean! The furnishing are lovely and very comfortable! The only downside is having to close the windows at night while we sleep because the waves are so loud. I know poor us! Everyone who stays at Kanai a Nalu are so friendly. We enjoy the grill and meeting new people! This place is wonderful and very relaxing. The flowers, water and candy was a very nice welcome! We will be back!

Stephanie has been great and flexible to work with my reservation. She is a 5-star agent! When I arrived at the condo, I was so pleased! Super clean and comfortable beds! Beach equipment was available to use! We enjoyed our stay so much we are likely to return again in the near future! I love Maalaea! So peaceful and quiet, yet centrally located! We spent a lot of time on the beach, pool, and on the lanai watching the surfers. Awesome vacation!

A perfect piece of paradise!

This really was the perfect place to call home while we enjoyed paradise for ten days. Perfect location. Perfect beach. Perfect views. The apartment is well kept, clean and has everything you could possibly need. The management company was amazing to work with; so responsive and welcoming. The beds were super comfortable, the lanai was heaven and the only noise was the crash of the waves. The one and only minor complaint was that the back bedroom got quite hot (so bring light PJ's). Other than that, it really was perfect. I will absolutely be returning to this condo as soon as I can. Mahalo!

What a Great Start to our 15 Day Hawaii Vacation!!!!

I can't say enough about this condo, location, and weather. The oceanfront balcony view was spectacular no mater what time of day. The Macadamia Nut Chocolates captured my heart when we opened the door to this very well appointed condo. The quietness of the corner fourth floor was only interrupted by the sound of the waves rolling in on the beach below. Directions to the condo were spot on and we never had the need to contact Stephanie at I Go Maui Vacation Rentals once we arrived because everything was perfect from that point on. It was hard to leave the condo each day for our planned activities but was always a pleasure to return and relax on the balcony each evening. Of course we did the Road to Hana and the Hana Lava Tube exploration. We also traveled up to Mount Haleakala at 3:00AM to watch the sunrise and were the second car to arrive at the summit where we stumbled around in the dark (forgot our flashlights) for an hour before witnessing a great event. Well worth the early morning ride and a "must see" on Maui. But the most fun we had (after we made it back safely) was taking Highway 340 from Kapalua to Waihee (don't tell the car rental agency) on less than 1/4 tank of gas. About a 30 mile stretch which took about 90 minutes and was one lane/cliff side driving where meeting another vehicle became a major problem. Made it back safely on fumes and never so glad to see civilization again and particularly a gas station. Last time I will drive that route!! Hated to leave Maui but moved on to Kauai for another great 5 day stay. Disaster then struck shortly after we arrived in Oahu for our final 5 days. We just checked into another great vacation rental when we started receiving text messages from family members that our hometown of Coal City, Illinois was struck from twin tornadoes. The result was that nobody was seriously hurt; however, our house and two vehicles were destroyed and another couple in our party rec'd some major damage. All four couples houses or family members houses were affected by the storm so we made plans to immediately head home. Travel Tip: Don't contact American Airlines for help in a crisis situation. And being an American Advantage Member was useless. After a five hour flight delay from 7:45P to 1:00AM we boarded and then sat for an additional three and a half hours for mechanical problems. And guess what wasn't at the Airport upon our arrival? Our luggage. In closing, the Maui condo was perfect. Book it Today
