A NOTE ABOUT MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: Rockingham can accommodate a maximum of 12 adults at any given time. For families traveling with small children, we allow up to 6 additional small children for a total of 18 guests; however, at all other times the maximum occupancy of this property is 12 adult guests.
A NOTE ABOUT POOL HEATING: The pool can be heated during winter months when the natural pool temperature drops due to lower outside air temperatures. Pool heating is optional and available for $60/day with a 3-consecutive day minimum. When heated, the temperature will be maintained between 83-86 degrees. We generally recommend that the pool be heated in order to be comfortable October through May.

We chose the heart of Scottsdale because of all the wonderful amenities nearby. World class golf, great shopping, fabulous restaurants, gourmet grocery stores, spring training, children's parks and entertainment venues and perhaps best of all: the Scottsdale Greenbelt!
This Greenbelt in Scottsdale actually connects multiple parks: Vista Del Camino, El Dorado, Indian School and Chaparral Park. The greenbelt is over 12 miles long, and is the most popular place in town for inline skaters as well as joggers, cyclists, walkers and anyone with a dog. There are sports fields, ramadas, fishing lakes, tennis courts and more along the greenbelt. Rockingham is located just 1 block from the greenbelt. Bikes can be rented by the day at the Bike Emporium, which is just 2 miles away from the home.
We are walking distance - a very short walk - to Starbucks, Ruth's Chris Steak House, Wildflower Bread Company, Terroir Wine Pub, Jamba Juice, Blue 32 Sports Grill, Roka Akor (Asian), Scramble, SumoMaya and more.
There are over 50 excellent restaurants within 7 minutes of our location.
Love Shopping? Fashion Square Mall is 2 miles south of us and the Gainey Village Shops, a boutique mall is just 1 mile away. Also within 2 miles of the home is a shopping center with Target, HomeDepot and ToysRUs.
The McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park is adjacent to the Rockingham neighborhood and is a fabulous attraction for kids! It is the most popular children's park in Phoenix. Guests can easily walk to the park to ride the train, play on the huge playgrounds, ride the carousel or visit the model train museum.
The brand new Salt River Fields spring training stadium (home to Diamondbacks and Rockies) is just 2 miles away along with the Pavillions shopping & dining, the Talking Stick Resort & Casino, the brand new OdySea Aquarium, Dolphinaris, Butterfly Wonderland and Octane Raceway go-kart racing. Also new to the neighborhood is Top Golf, a premier golf entertainment complex.
When you land at Rockingham Estate it is difficult to keep your jaw from hitting the floor... From the impeccably manicured property, to the citrus trees to the fountains to the private golf hole this property is nothing short of special! Me, my wife and son travelled with 10 family members and stayed Dec 26-Jan 2nd and had an incredible time. CJ and Jamie are true professionals that have impeccably quick attention to any detail big or small to make your trip the best it can be. I can go on and on. Truly 5 star service. The location of this estate is so great when travelling with children, so close to the railroad museum and right next door to a horse jumping training facility, not to memtion the street is very private and low traffic for such a prime location, so everyone felt quite safe and sound. For the adults, there are shops, gyms, resaurants, golf and casino's nearby with some great trail access less than half a mile away. We'll definitely be back and don't think twice about renting Rockingham, it is worth every penny! Once again, thanks you CJ and Jamie:)
This house was perfect for a three day vacation weekend and family gathering. We had 10 adults and 4 children, the house fit us all with plenty of room to spare. It was so nice to have everyone together for relaxation and fun versus a small hotel room. This is a beautiful home with all of the amenities. I highly recommend this property to anyone. We had spoken to several people regarding different properties and Jamie and CJ were the best to deal with. They were flexible to meet our needs. We hope to have the opportunity to rent this property again
We rented this property for 9 nights/10 days for our annual cousin vacation.
Over the years we have rented a number of properties but none of them met and exceeded our needs as this one has. Since we spend the majority of our time together at the home for meals and relaxation the kitchen/dinning and pool areas are the most critical. The layout of this home was so perfect that the 9 of us could gather in the kitchen and pool areas at the same time and never feel crowded.
The pool was amazing, it was very clean and large. The par 3 hole, that included a bunker, made for some exciting games during the day.
We were very pleased when we arrived to find the home as it appeared on the website. We encountered one minor issue which Jamie and CJ immediately responded and corrected. They were by far the best owner/operator/managers we have ever dealt with.
If you are looking for a beautiful home with spacious indoor and outdoor areas look no further. We didn't leave the house that often over the 10 days but the home is perfectly located to many restaurants, shopping and golf courses.

The house is exactly as advertised. Very clean. Jamie and CJ were fantastic, easy to work with and extremely responsive. Six guys stayed there and we had a blast. Its convenient to all the major golf resorts (we played Troon, TPC, WeKoPa, and Sunridge Canyon) and restaurants and shopping. The golf hole in the front yard is a blast. Highly recommend this house.
This home is in an excellent location and is very private. It is close to areas of interests and downtown Old Scottsdale. The home is older, which resulted in some challenges, such as a problematic dishwasher. Overall appliances were in good condition. The layout of the property supported activities for all ages. Our only serious problem was that we had been told that no animals had been there in the past couple of years and this was not true. As a result some of our family had to move and stay off-site and out of the house because of serious animal allergies. It was a very serious health issue - not something remedied with a pill. Our teen-age grandson had to be administered breathing treatments, even after leaving the residence. Since we had checked this out ahead of time, we were unhappy about the situation. It could have been avoided with honest communication. In the future, we will have this written into the contract and not take anyone's word for it. For people who do not have animal allergies, or who travel with their pets, it would be an excellent residence for large groups of varying ages.The pool was great, although clouded up badly, perhaps because of the sudden change in temerature and incorrect chemical levels. Managers responded to attempt to correct this.
We stayed there this year and CJ. and Jamie were so attentive to our needs. The house is wonderful and the very best place our group of 12 gal golfers has stayed in the 8 years I have been with them. The whole package of indoor and outdoor living space was so beautifully done and so comfortable to be in. We loved it!
