Stephanie purchased this house in 2013
I bought this home because of its charm and conveniently location downtown!
I love the 'roomyness' of this home. I love that is very bright. The location is very convenient. Grocery & restaurants within one mile and just about everything else that a tourist would want to see within 5 miles!
12 of us came to spend the new years weekend in Nashville. We were very happy with the home. Nice updated kitchen both upstairs and downstairs, great bedrooms and the media room was great!! We had plenty of room for every one of us. The house is located in great proximity to Broadway and other Nashville hot spots. We took ubers/lyfts to anywhere we wanted to go for a small $6/$7 fee. The owner was readily available and was in contact via text/phone any time we had a question. One of the guys even left something behind and she went to go look for him and mailed it back! We had a great time in Nashville and would definitely stay here again!
7 women embarked on Nashville and stayed at this property for the weekend. It was the perfect house for a big group. Other reviewers noted that it was in a "shady" neighborhood but we all felt safe and didn't find anything shady about it. It is an urban neighborhood, for sure, but it was quiet, clean and close enough to all the Nashville sites and Broadway to be easy to get to and from ($6-8 uber ride one way to broadway) Home is older but well kept and there wasn't anything we needed that we didn't find in the house. The owner offered great communication prior to check in. We had an unfortunate situation with a payment lost in the mail but she worked with me to resolve. Upon arrival we found wine and chocolates for us and a book with a lot of recommendations for Nashville, we appreciated both! We especially loved the "under carport" area which allowed us a great space to sit outside and catch up with one another. Beds were comfortable, linens clean, plenty of dishes provided (could maybe use a few more wine glasses) and easy check out with very few requests on what we had to do before leaving. I would definitely stay in this home again and appreciate the great communication from the owner. Another successful VRBO trip!
This house was awesome for our large group that was visiting for a wedding. The upstairs addition as well as the new kitchen were beautifully done and overall, the house was very cozy and inviting! One thing we would like to see if we were to come stay again would be shades in the first floor bedrooms. The morning sun is strong! :)
The home was exactly as was shown in the pictures. They did not however show photos of the exterior or tell you it was built in about 1940 and only partly renovated. The house is in a very shady neighbourhood. The cab drivers told us we should not stay there. The home had 5 and 1/2 bedrooms and 3 and 1/2 baths . Only 2 showers and 1 bathtub. WiFi was great. The shag carpet was disgusting. The linens and towels were old and needed replacing. We did have a wonderful time in Nashville, but should we ever return, we would definitely stay downtown within walking distance of all the major attractions. We used Uber or taxis all the time as traffic is horrific and parking is a nightmare.
We loved Nashville - be sure to check out many bars and pubs and restaurants on Broadway. Visit the Ryman Auditorium and the Country Music Hall of Fame. The Grand Ole Opry is a must. If you can, catch a Tennessee Titans game or the Nashville Predators. Lots to do and see and eat . Great Music in this beautiful city. We loved Nashville but not this VRBO.
This house was great for my bachelorette! It slept all of us very comfortably!! Also the location was amazing and very close to downtown!! Would definetly recommend for another stay!
I came with co-workers for business. The place was really large, so we all had plenty of space. It was very clean and it was easy to get in touch with the host if needed. Great stay!
