You won’t need to bring anything but your bathing suit, shorts and some t-shirts to enjoy your trip to Grand Cayman. This luxury oceanfront condo provides everything. Located directly on the beautiful waters of the Caribbean Sea, the panoramic views and nearby water sport activities mean you need not venture far to enjoy all the island has to offer.
This private and peaceful resort is the perfect place to relax and enjoy as the tropical trade winds blow your troubles away. Only 30 minutes from the airport and the downtown George Town shopping area, On The Bay is a 12 unit complex situated on beautifully landscaped grounds on the quiet North Side of Grand Cayman.
Go for a refreshing swim in the pool or take a dip in the private cove fed by the sea. Snorkel right from the beach, or take a stroll in the sand. It’s all right at your doorstep. If you’re looking to take a boat trip, ride a waverunner, or go scuba diving, these activities are only 10 minutes away at Rum Point.
If you enjoy hiking, the Mastic Trail is only 5 minutes away, as is the beautiful Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park with its magnificent gardens of orchids and local flora.
Nearby restaurants provide both casual and fine dining.
We were surprised when entering the condo. We didn't expect that much space and luxury. You can probably get lost in the master bathroom, no kidding!
I don't have a lot to add to the other reviews. All of those descriptions are correct.
The kitchen was actually stocked with a lot of "leftover" spices, oils, coffee , tea etc., so our first day purchases of essentials stayed there as well and add up to the pile of things.
Being tired after the flight , we actually missed the entrance to the condos first. There is a sign with street number 69 (the address is 67), which shows you where to turn.
As with most of the other people, we had the place / beach to ourselves (to be shared with the hermit crabs....) for 3-4 days. In the little lagoon our 12-year-old daughter could snorkel without major supervision and on one of the clearer days we saw a lion fish right there (amongst the usual reef fish you see everywhere in the Caribbean).
Usually we go different places, but this place is definitely worth a repeat visit.
My wife and I recently stayed in Marks place in the cayman and were delighted. The condo was right on the water with spectacular views. The condo was clean and well equipped and was very large. It also had an elevator for convenience of getting to the second floor. Mark told us in advance of things to see and do. Kurts corner , an eatery was within walking distance and though we ate at places all over the island we found this to be the best food and the cheapest. Try snorkeling at Eden rock or have a drink at the Cracked conch and snorkel right off their deck. Be sure to visit stingrays and starfish point and spend a day at rum point. You will fall in love with this place.
This was our third time to the Grand Cayman and this condo was by far our favorite.
My husband, daughter, and I spent a week. When we first arrived it was like walking into a fairy tale. The lights where on and the sun beginning to set. The overall feeling was warm, cozy, and beautiful.
The apartment had everything you needed for a comfortable week. Kitchen was fully stocked and plenty of towels for pool and bath. 3 spacious bedrooms with 2 having an ensuite. I really appreciated the open floor plan of the kitchen, dining and living room.
I cannot say enough about the balcony. It is such a big space and we enjoyed having our breakfast and lunch out there! Great view of the beach and palm trees.
The grounds were very pretty and well maintained, it was very quiet and peaceful.
My daughter loved to swim in the natural cove and the pool.
The condo was perfectly located for our family. We have always preferred to stay on the North side of the island. It is close to great restaurants, like Tukka, Kurts Corner, and Over the Edge. And also very close to Rum Point.
We are planning to go back this year and are hoping to stay at this location.
Mark was great! He was always quick to answer any questions we had and was super helpful with the booking. Mark thank you so much.
I highly recommend you stay here! Quick, book it! Just not for the week I want to go. ;)
Our stay at On the Bay was fabulous! Mark provided us with a map of restaurants, grocery stores and activities that we were interested in. The condo was clean, inviting, and a perfect home away from home. The view is spectacular. If you want privacy away from the commercial part of the island but easy access to beaches and restaurants this is the place for you.
We thoroughly enjoyed this beach front condo. It was clean, had very comfortable AC, all the amenities we could desire, and was equipped with WiFi and Sat TV. The unit is on the North side of Grand Cayman on a quiet cove. . There is a small swim able lagoon in front of the dwelling and a pool as well. The owner was very responsive and provided a map on which he printed all of the local tourist and snorkeling sites as well as restaurants. There is a quaint bar/restaurant nearby that serves (relatively) inexpensive and delicious fish dishes. Highly recommended to those seeking accommodations away from 7 mile beach. Snorkeling on Grand Cayman is Fantastic! Looking forward to returning.
The property was exactly as advertised, it is clean, very well furnished, it has everything you could possibly want to make your holiday property a home away from home. We arrived late but directions to the complex and acces were very easy. Mark (the owner) was fantastic with his speed of response to any emails, which really was a relief to us. We are a family of 4 with a 15yr son and 11yr daughter, the pool and lagoon kept them entertained in a safe environment when my wife and I just wanted to sit back and relax. There is a great restaurant (Over The Edge) about a 10 minute walk away, take a torch! Rum Point is a 10 minute drive which is where we all spent a lot of time when we weren't all diving. Would I recommend to a friend? No, especially not at Christmas time in a couple of years as we are already planning our return trip, but seriously, I cannot recommend this propert and area highly enough. There is everything close by you could possibly want, diving, snorkelling, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding to name but a few and space to do absolutely nothing if that's what you want too.
