Welcome to beautiful Amelia Island! Only 45 minutes from Jacksonville. This is a deluxe two bedroom/two bath unit on the 1st floor. Both bedrooms are oceanfront with private covered patios that lead out to a lawn. We are situated between the two recently updated swimming pools. A boardwalk floats over the dunes and leads to the beautiful beach. No hassle getting to the beach or pools with elevators or stairs, just walk around the corner from the patio! A NEW picture window in living room offers a gorgeous view when you step into the condo!
Both bedrooms have comfortable firm mattresses with allergy and dust mite covers and private on suite bathrooms with tub/shower combos. The guest room has twin beds. The master has a king. Carpet is in the guest room, the rest of the condo is tile. Ceiling fans are in all rooms. We have a packnplay, just bring your baby's sheets. All other linens are included.
Both bedrooms, as well as the living room, open out onto private patios on the ground level with beautiful views of the ocean. Perfect for dining or lounging. Children will love playing on the thick green grass while you are planning your next adventure.
Amelia Surf and Racquet Club is located on Summer Beach. It is a gated community with 4 lighted clay tennis courts and two newly renovated pools. The Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Spa resort is located a short walk from our property.
Wonderful restaurants and quaint shops make the historic town of Fernandina Beach a great place for dining and shopping. Fort Clinch, Cumberland Island, and St. Mary are nearby and offer tours. If you play golf or tennis, you will have many venues to choose from. We have a tennis pro on site that is available for lessons or to help you schedule a match. This is a great tennis team get away location.
All Surf and Racquet condos are individually owned and maintained. As such, each owner is responsible for his or her unit's decor and cleanliness. We take pride in maintaining the highest standards in both areas. Something will have been added each time you return for another stay.
This condo is totally updated.. The kitchen has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a dishwasher, and a front loading washer and dryer. A weber grill is available for your use on the lawn( one of the advantages to being on the ground floor.) Wifi, local and long distance, and hd/ cable is included.

Rick and Julie Dreger purchased this condo in 2008
We looked at several properties on the beach and this was the one that we loved immediately. Great location and great floor plan. Such a nice complex with wonderful tennis courts and beautiful beach. Well maintained.
Being on the first floor makes going to the beach and pool easy and convenient. No elevators or stairs to manage or long walks from the parking lot.
This was our first year on Amelia Island, we enjoyed it very much and we hought the couch was very comfortable. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach and the pool right outside our door.! Your place was perfect for kids and we all loved it!
We stayed with our family of 4 (2 boys, 4 and 1). Very nice place that was quite convenient...especially being on the first floor. Appreciate the usage of the beach chairs and a few toys that came with the place. A couple pieces of advice to renters: the place has a Keurig coffee maker only; and the only food/ cooking supplies provided are salt and pepper. Keep that in mind if you do a grocery run before you show up! All in all a great experience and we would definitely come back. Thanks to the owners for opening up your space and providing such a nice environment for us.
I wanted to express my extreme satisfaction with our family’s visit in your condo.
Rental Process - I was contacted promptly for a last minute rental and the process of booking the condo was relatively easy with clear instructions of how to arrive.
Condo - The property was maintained very well from the beach to the parking lot. Inside the condo clean, organized, tastefully decorated, relaxing, and the closest condo to the beach and both pools in the complex. Favorite thing about the condo, off the master bedroom patio you walk through your own private narrow path between hedges and tall grass that “no one” can see right onto the sidewalk that leads you to the pool or beach walkway with 2 showers stations. Being able to return from the beach via the patio on the ground floor verses weaving back through the front of the condo and stairs was a huge convenience and only takes 2 minutes. Towels dry quickly, sandals kicked off, and kids seashells stayed on the patio verses bringing them inside.
Kids Room - They had their own TV so, they could watch kid movies/shows from the twin beds. Theme décor was beach w/ pink flamingo sheets (I had to purchase and located sheets at TARGET FYI - Brand “Pillowfort”) made with material which felt like parachute soft and cool to the touch.
Condo View - Most inside condo views are obstructed by patio furniture while inside but, in this condo you can see the beach, walkway and grassy area through the window and the 2 separate patios are off to the side outside the bedrooms. Before my visit, I saw 1 comment made by another renter seeing salt from the ocean on the windows which is clearly unavoidable with direct beach access but, I honestly didn't see the issue or big deal. The Atlantic ocean view is bright & sunny so, they have window sheers to allow you to appreciate the view with the morning sun.
I am very particular and I would highly recommend this condo to my family and friends and hope to return soon
Places – Cumberland Island, US State Park. We took the Land and Legacy Tour which was expensive but, well worth the cost if you want to see ALL the historical stops, ruins and complete mansion tour. Our guide knew the complete history of the island, families that lived and still remain on the island today. READ Trip Advisor before going for full details.
Omni Hotel, Nature Center w/fees (kids made sharks necklaces and 1 hour paddle board marsh guided tour. Fort - tour, biking, beach allow 1 full day
This condo is a wonderful choice when staying in Amelia Island. The canopied drive leading to entrance is beautiful and opens up to well kept and nice, relaxed complex. Unit b107 itself is warm and inviting, thoughtfully furnished, and stocked but not cramped with just the right extras - beach towels, chairs, toys, as well as books, board games, extra blankets and pillows. The unit itself is just off the pool and steps from boardwalk to beach but tucked just enough out of the way to afford some privacy. The owner was immediately available by phone when I had a question and was eager to help. We would stay here again and recommend without reservation.
A lot to like here, but also a handful of annoyances that the owners could easily address. First the good:
Location is fantastic. Right on the beach, between (but not in front of) two nice pools. The layout of the unit is very nice - both bedrooms have oven views, as does the kitchen/living space. And for those with young kids and worried about balconies, it's pretty awesome to have a 1st floor unit while still having an ocean view. It was easy to deal with the owners in getting the keys, checking in, paying.
Now for the annoyances:
More than one of the doors did not have working locks. Given this is a 1st floor unit, that's unforgivable. The windows were filthy, affected our views. Several light bulbs didn't work, there were empty bottles of detergent and almost no bath soap left for us, decor could use a refresher.
As you can tell, these "issues" can all be fixed, and we still had a great time. I'd recommend it, just hope that some of these thing can be addressed soon. Thanks.
We truly enjoyed our getaway here. We have two small children and the grassy area in front of this condo worked really well! We will be back next year.
This was a very clean and well decorated unit. The layout is great in that both bedrooms have views and access to the outdoor space. The proximity to the ocean was great. Only downside to the view was that the windows were foggy and unable to clean then but this was minor issue. Owner was extremely responsive to questions I had before and during the stay. We would definitely stay here again.
If you love tennis , you will love playing on the 4 lighted, clay Tennis Courts, Lessons Available.
Ritz Carlton Resort short walk away offers dining and beach activities, nice outdoor bar/lunch
