Escape to peaceful Whidbey Island and take a step back in time at this beautifully restored farmhouse. The exterior welcomes you with a deck, a large backyard full of shade trees, and a barbecue pit area with outdoor seating - the perfect place to read a book, enjoy the lazy days of summer, and watch deer graze the fields. Bring the kids' trikes and bikes, as there's ample room to ride in the yard or on the many country roads. Inside, you'll find a well-equipped farm kitchen, a sunroom with great windows for natural light, and a gas fireplace in the cozy living room.

Heritage Farm is located on beautiful South Whidbey Island, accessible by a short ferry ride from Mukilteo or via the scenic route through Deception Pass. Tee off at Useless Bay Country Club just eight miles away, or head to Holmes Harbor Golf Club or Island Greens Golf & Driving Range, both of which are under 11 miles away. There are many beautiful woodland trails in the area, with Saratoga Woods being the closest (two miles southeast) and South Whidbey State Park 12 miles west. Or, take a day trip a little ways up north to see Fort Casey State Park or Deception Pass State Park. Whidbey Island is home to many farmers markets, festivals, and fairs as well, such as the Greenbank Loganberry Festival, the Island County Fair, Langley Mystery Weekends, and the Coupeville Arts & Crafts Festival.

Spacious & well stocked!
We loved having the extra space in the house and it was dog friendly! Our pup loved sniffing around the large field where the deer were.

We did spend 3 nights at the heritage farm with two toddlers and we just loved the place. Very close to Langley but secluded in the beautiful countryside. Highlight recommend

Liked: Check-in
Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, location, listing accuracy
Misleading description, construction and filth
We were greatly disappointed in our stay at this house. The listing made it appear to be a great location to bring your kids and dogs as it had a huge yard for them to run and play in. However upon getting there we quickly found out that there was no gate on the driveway which leads to a 50mph road and a large section of the fence was down due to construction on the property. That construction was not disclosed to us prior to our arrival when we found a note say to not use the back half of the property during our stay. This all meant that we could not have our dogs outside without being on a leash. Then we went to give our daughter a bath and found toothpaste spittle in the shower and tub as well as pubic hair in the tub. Around the same time I grab a cup from the kitchen and it literally stuck to the shelf it was on. We found a number of dishes put away dirty and some pot lids with grease still on them. Then for three mornings straight we got calls from XFinity at 7am saying there was a schedule appointment that required someone 18 or older to be present. Not only am I not going to babysit an XFiniity employee during my vacation, my dogs would have gone absolutely nuts if they came into the house while we were there. So I tried calling Xfinity to no avail and then had to call Vacasa who then had to call a local Vacasa rep to then call the owners to then have them call Xfinity to then have them call the scheduled technician to cancel the appointment. Which must have happened and got scheduled for a day or two later because we got called yet again at 7am our last day there saying there was an upcoming appointment. All that to say this house had a very weird layout as well. You could tell it was originally a quite small older house that had multiple addons that were done at different times and not designed very well because the layout was very odd. And even if there was no contsruction taking place the yard is not usable for your dogs to be offleash because of the lack of a gate that leads to a 50mph road. This listing was very misleading and was over priced, filthy and also had very little privacy due to multiple neighbors being all around in an open field which is not clear in the listing either.
