About Jordi and Anna
I am from Barcelona and I live in Crete since 2010. I love nature, walking y exploring the island. Always respecting the environment.
Why Jordi and Anna chose Kastelli
The house used to be a scool back in 1910. We kept all the traditional cretan material and re-build the house respecting the environment. The villa is perfect for those who look for quiet, relax and enjoy the nature next to the mountains.
What makes this Cottage unique
The villa is located in Polirinnia village, which has a great history during the ancient years. During the archaic period was one of the most important cities of the Mediterranean , it even had its own coin. Very close to the village is the famous Sirikari gorge. If you are looking for something quiet and be" disconnected" from city noises, take morning walks up to the mountain and archaeological sight seeing, Polirinnia Villa is the right place.

Beautiful home, quiet village
We celebrated our anniversary here with a toddler and baby. There was plenty of space and we our little ones loved playing here. Initially I thought it wouldn’t be child friendly as the stairs are very steep and there’s lots of decorative antiques around but the outdoor space was great and our little ones both did great! We loved the taverna in the village as well.
Rachel and family were great guests. Very friendly, easy to communicate, very genlte. We certainly recommend them as guests
Large, lovely, well-equipped house in charming, ancient village.
The house is located at the edge of a charming hilltop village scattered with fascinating archeological remains. The house is well furnished and very attractively decorated in a traditional style. We were 6 people and had plenty of space. Also lots of outdoor living space with lovely views over the Cretan hills. Some practical points worth noting: drive to stores, etc. In Kissamos is about 10-15 minutes down a typically winding and steep Cretan road. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. Only one of the bedrooms has air conditioning though given the breezy hilltop location that wasn't an issue for us, and we stayed in mid August. The taverna just outside the village is quite good. Definitely worth patronizing.
Μichael, family and friends were great guests. Very nice and friendly, we highly recommend them to any host.
Very peaceful and picturesque position and an ideal base for exploring north west Crete
We had a great week, the owners made us very welcome in this traditional property. The villa had everything we needed and lots of space. The village of polyrinia is pretty and overlooks a steep valley with mountains all around. It is built on the site of an ancient Hellenic city and there is a great walk through the village and up to the hilltop above with ruins from various centuries.
The taverna on the way up to the hilltop is very nice with fantastic views especially at sunset.
Kisamoss is 10-15 minutes drive with good amenities and a very nice beach with a good restaurant (Maria Beach) and free sun beds and shades at the eastern side beside the small river.
We would certainly recommend it!
WONDERFUL VILLAGE HOUSE
We recently stayed at this lovely house for two weeks. It is a converted olive mill and is full of character, situated in an old village, with the remains of an ancient city further above, in the heart of idyllic Greek countryside. It is a very peaceful place with the town off Kissamos six or seven kilometres away.

Breve vacanza in uno splendido borgo
Grazie a Jordi e Anna
Emanuela and family were great guests. We certainly recommend them and hope to host them again!
