Everything was perfect. Great location and cottage size was just what we were looking for. Def recommend it and would love to go back.
We're so glad you had a good time at Lakeside and we hope to see you again soon! Thank you for your kind words!
We got there on a Friday night and was brought right to our cabin with no wait! The place was what we expected nice conditions but the only negative thing was the beds were not good! But for the price and how nice the area was we will definitely be back
Not what expected
on the advertising, said fireplace not on premises, missing windows shade on bedroom, poor Wi-Fi, nothing like the pictures on the app.
When we arrived after a 4 hour ride, this was not the property we were shown. We went into several cottages, and demanded my money back. The kitchens and baths were clean, but the mattresses were on the floor and disgusting. The furniture was disgusting. Yes I have 2 dogs, and I would not allow them to touch anything. There was a grounds man and his wife present and she Elizabeth was an angel. We stayed in a modular that was lovely. I thank you for that. It is a great location, with a lovely lake. Get furniture that you can wipe and clean, I understand the terrain is dirty and sometimes muddy, but please get furniture.
Woodsy and quiet
When we first got there Andrew took us to our cabin and my wife said it smelled of dog ,Andrew did offer to show us another one but said it was smaller , so we stayed at this one my wife had a candle with her which helped over all it was neat inside the bathroom was clean there were a few pet stains visible on the carpet. It was quiet and peaceful . The access to the lake was not an easy access for someone who might be older or in our case has someone with disabilities . Andrew did point out that there was a private access road that took you directly to the lake . Over all it was a quiet and relaxing weekend for us but we were disappointed in the distance the lake was . After we got there I did reread the property details and noticed it did say water view and lake view and not lake frontage, which was what we were looking for . Because of this I don't think we would go here again . But f you want a quiet place in the woods with access to a lake I would recommend it . It did remind me of my days of camping
Nice, clean and comfortable cabin for family in Lake Wallenpaupack
Cabin and location for family excursions to the lake were great. Cabin is not luxurious but for what your paying per night, the location and cabin amenities are more than fair. Our cottage was #9 and had all the basic things already there you'll need to cook and and enjoy your stay. We had plenty of space and even brought our dog. Our stay was very
comfortable and we enjoyed the area including the outside fire pit and kids loved the mini playground. Andy was great - always around the property to help us including when our wifi went out - he had it back working in 20 mins. Would recommend and would stay again. Thank you
