Great Location, Lovely Quiet, plenty of space!
A group of yogis traveled to be together at this beautiful beach house in Florida. The house welcomed us with plenty of space, fabulous porches and enough bathrooms to share! When people wanted quiet, all they had to do was walk outside, find a porch, and relax. We practiced our yoga on the porch, and walked to the beach to be kissed by the ocean in savassana! The kitchen was well equipped and the fact there are two refrigerators worked well for our large group. The "not so hot" items: Half of the lighting in the house doesn't work. I saw that addressed in an earlier review and it has not been fixed. When we went to use the Weber bbq and opened the lid, it was moldy and filthy. My husband purchased a new one on Craigs List to enable us to cook our meals. The trundle day beds need new mattresses; no one could get comfortable on them. Biggest help would be TOWELS! When you advertise a place that sleeps 14, please, have the house stocked with fresh towels and washcloths............ Some of us had even brought our own beach towels and had to use them daily. I left my dish towels for the next person as there was only one in the kitchen. Would I recommend this house? Only if the manager/housekeeper would see to the necessary items. We enjoyed our stay. The price was reasonable and the location grand!
We thank the guests for there stay . Theses minor items could have been promptly addresses with a single phone call . The light bulbs blow regularly due to power surges and storms in area . We ask in the check in instructions to promptly report any issues Thanks
great location, roomy, very nice house
Nice property with great location
The home was nice and had convenient access to the beach, pool, and downtown St. Augustine. We really enjoyed our time there.
Thanks you for taking the time to share your comments
Our family had great time weather was great beach was also great. Place we stayed was ok .
Few minor things at place but was taken care of.
Thanks for your stay , not sure how to responds since no specific issues
Great location! Spacious house with very nice pool and short walk to the beach!
We brought both sets of parents, siblings, and our dog to St. Augustine for the first time. This house was perfect! It was spacious enough for everyone to have their own bedroom and plenty of bathrooms. The only downfall is there were several light bulbs out throughout all three levels of the house and the wifi had to be reset a couple of times (and it didn't extend to all parts of the house).
Thanks for your comments , Please note that with the storms we have had power surges cause some issues with lights and internet , sorry for inconvenience
It was a nice place but needs some work
It was a nice rental home and was very clean. It had good access to the beach and was very convenient to stores, restaurants and attractions.
But on the negative side, the lighting was poor, with many bulbs out, (including the toilet room on the 3rd floor), or poor lighting as on the exterior staircase from the second floor. And the Wi-Fi was very intermittent, even after re-setting the router several times. But the main disappointment was that the second floor was the primary living space considering we had one elderly and one handicap person with us, both requiring walkers.
Overall, this is a good place for younger or "healthier" families, especially if all the lights were fixed, but for my family not as nice.
Ideal vacation spot. Ocean view estate property with pool and direct beach access. Spectacular Ocean Views. Only 5 minutes to historic downtown St. Augustine, America's oldest city. A short drive to Daytona, two airports and World Golf Village.
