Welcome to our Harbor Country vacation home … 'Breeze' at the Vineyard Lofts.

Built out of what was the oldest winery in the state of Michigan, Breeze offers guests the ambiance of a bygone era with the latest in modern design. Spectacular and inspiring, the historic renovation features striking elevation changes and dramatic architectural design that creates exciting space that is as useful as it is beautiful.

A stay at Breeze beckons you to relax and enjoy! The private courtyard and patio, equipped with year-round, 4-person hot tub are great outdoor spaces to unwind. Inside, a mood of undeniable luxury prevails with the look and feel of a Nantucket seaside villa.

Breeze, a corner, ground-floor 1900 sq/ft loft, sleeps 5 to 6 adults in its three bedrooms; The master bedroom has 1 queen bed, bedroom two has 2 queen beds, and bedroom three has 2 twin beds. An oversized great room with 12ft. ceilings is a great place to hang out, relax, watch a movie or just be. Outside, enjoy a patio off the dining area, or your own private, fenced courtyard off the bedrooms. About Rich

We love to travel; been all over the country. We consider ourselves to have a keen sense of what works. Also, we often travel with our dog.

Rich purchased this condo in 2006

Why Rich chose Southwest Michigan

Harbert is one of those great destinations that once you find it, you hope stays a little bit secret. The restaurants, shops, beaches, culture and all around vibe are unmatched. The Lofts are nothing short of spectacular. Carved out of Michigan's oldest winery, the historic property is unlike anything we have ever experienced. Super design, quality and vision are all present.

What makes this condo unique

A straight shot to the beach, two restaurants and a bakery, galleries, salon/spa, garden center and antique shops, all steps from your door. Many wineries and breweries are a 5-minutes, or less, drive down country roads. A dog park is next door at Harbert Park which also has a playground, fishing pond, pavilion, and a baseball diamond. The Warren Dunes are less than 3 miles away. On site we have a fire pit, picnic pavilion, and a serene prairie with footpaths and relaxation areas.

Guestbook comments from the owner

(transfered from old guestbook system)We just spent a week at the Spectacular loft "Breeze". Our family vacation consisted of 6 people and 3 four legged house members. It couldn't of been a better vacation. The loft had all the comforts we could ask for.

Before our vacation was even over family members were already asking "same time and place next year"?

On a scale of 1-10 this vacation spot rated a 20! Very impressed.

Visitors in Our Home Town

  • 5 of 5

For the first time, we returned to MI for the Holidays not having our own home having moved from the area. We found this property available and knowing the area very well, we decided to give it a try. Needless to say, we were very pleased on all accounts. The hosts were very welcoming, the place was as described, and very clean. I could see the parking to be a little challenging in the busier times - so a little planning would be a good idea in that regard. The kitchen area was very well equipped and thought out - which was a big bonus for us on this particular trip. We were very comfortable with all of the features and the space. We can highly recommend this unit for a pretty large family or those wanting a good amount of space to relax or gather as a "home base".

Weekend trip

  • 5 of 5

This is the third year in a row we've stayed at this loft. As always, the space is comfortable and very clean. It's a great place to stay with the family for a weekend getaway from the city.

Excellent Experience

  • 5 of 5

We loved it. Instead of taking our money to a hotel room we upgraded and received a very high end upscale experience. I loved this condo...it was very large. 3 full bedrooms. It would sleep several people if we needed too.

Very clean!!

The hot tub is really for a 1 or 2 people. The furniture could be a little more comfortable for sitting and relaxing. The fireplace is a great touch. The food in the area is excellent. The MAK spa across the road had amazing massage therapy and high end services. I would definitely recommend this location!!!!

Perfect place for a girls weekend!

  • 5 of 5

Four of us ladies arrived to a warm welcome on a chalkboard sign. We utilized all the great travel brochures. The location was perfect for going to the beach, Swedish Bakery and vineyards. It was so clean and very nicely decorated! We enjoyed our time there. There were little touches that made us feel like a hotel but at "home". We definitely would stay there again.
