Brand new hardwoods - whole house has hardwoods with tile in the kitchen. I will add new pictures soon! The interior has been completely repainted as well this April 2015. It is really beautiful! All of the popcorn ceilings have been scraped and are now smooth and repainted
Our home is very well equipped and appointed. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for a long stay. Relax and enjoy our home on the Isle of Palms. This home is approx 2 blocks to the beach and 2.5 blocks to the shops/restaurants of the Island. Everything is within walking distance and the location is fantastic. Redecorated home with flat screen TVs in all bedrooms and the family room. Direct TV in all bedrooms too. Hardwoods throughout the home with tile in the bathhrooms, Seating area and wine bar. Home is very open, and the kitchen has additional built in bench seating. New stainless dishwasher, new washer and dryer and ceramic tile in the bathrooms. The hardwoods are an addition as well. This is a great home for spending time together - the kitchen is very large and great for cooking and spending time together. Plenty of drive under parking and a back deck for relaxing. Cleaning and linens included. Includes all charges - linens taxes and cleaning - no additional fees.
Location, location, location! The location of this home is perfect. The house is just 4 blocks to the bridge to Mount Pleasant, 2 blocks to the beach, 3 blocks to ocean front shopping and restaurants. Mount Pleasant Towne Center is just 5 minutes away and is a large, upscale shopping area, complete with movie theater, restaurants and more shops than you can imagine.
It is a very unique, new/old shopping area. It is reminiscent of old downtown areas laid out in squares. Mount Pleasant Shem Creek area, 10 minutes away, has fine restaurants overlooking the shrimp boats on scenic Shem Creek. Historic Charleston is only 20 minutes away. What can I say about Charleston? It is the reason we moved here years ago and chose to get married here. It never loses it's charm. We still are in awe every time we go downtown.

This house was exactly what we were looking for! It accommodated 4 adults and as many as 6 children without any problems. It was well stocked with any and all kitchen items as well as ample soap, TP, and paper towels. They even provided laundry detergent. This was my first experience renting a beach house. I would definitely stay here again as I was completely comfortable staying here.

The house was perfectly situated near a family member whose house wasn't large enough for all of us. Easy to find, this house is on the main road and only a few short blocks from the beach. Although on the main road it was really quiet inside and we couldn't hear the traffic. The rooms are well insulated from each other.
The hardwood floors are nice and the house is pretty well equipped for a weekend stay. We didn't really get to explore the area too much so I cannot comment on restaurants or bars. There are lots of stores nearby if you need to buy something you left at home. I did not see an outdoor shower at the house but there is a back deck which was nice for am coffee.
This house is on a somewhat busy street but the beach is just 2 blocks away. The decor is mostly 1980s-1990s. The property is in fair condition, just needs a really deep clean (stains on cushions and curtains in kitchen, dishes in cabinet not completely clean, mildewed shower curtains, pillows a bit musty, etc.). Renters should be aware that there is no ice maker and no condiments or coffee in the kitchen. With minor improvements and a deep clean, we'd consider renting the place again, though, based on location, layout, and reasonable pricing for family accommodations.
Arrived at property. Air condition was set at 85. Took over 12 hours to cool down. Refrigerator was on lowest setting and took over 24 hours to be able to maintain a cold level. Then when settling in it Became very apparent that the bedsheets in all the bedrooms had not been changed and were dirty. Called the property owner. He did send housekeeping the next day to have clean sheets put on bed. This really was a let down for a vacation that our family was looking forward to for so long. Won't be renting again anytime soon.
Wonderful 3 bedroom, 2 bath home on the Isle of Palms. The location is superb - within short walking distance to downtown Isle of Palms where there are several restaurants, bars, shops and beach gear rental stores. The beach is a short 5 minute walk. The grocery store is also very close and had everything we needed for our stay. The air conditioner worked great - nice and cool and that was even with keeping the thermostat at 78. The rental was clean. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed - very well equipped. The common areas (living room, dining and bar area) are spacious - ample room for everyone to spread out yet still be "together". The king bed in the master is quite firm, however it ended up being better for my lower back than my softer mattress at home. There is a small deck on the rear of the home with a grill and table/4 chairs. The owners were awesome to work with. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the photos representing the property are not up to date. The owners have added hardwood floors which are very nice. The furniture and décor are different from what is posted online. Some additional outside lighting is needed as well - it can be quite dark when coming home late at night. All in all - a great rental and we would definitely stay here again!
Wow. Just wow. From first step into the home, we were impressed. Clean and sparkling. Wonderful hardwood floors throughout, with tile in the two full baths. Really comprehensive set of kitchen utensils, pots/pans, baking trays for the ambitious cooks, and we enjoyed them all. Owners most cordial and responsive. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!
Wonderful location - you can walk to the WindJammer and the 'downtown' area of the island, as well as the great spots for breakfast. The beach is only 2.5 blocks away - an easy walk and fabulous location.
