Beautifully appointed 3 bedrooms, 2 full BA Isle of Palms Home - sleeps 8-10

Brand new hardwoods - whole house has hardwoods with tile in the kitchen. I will add new pictures soon! The interior has been completely repainted as well this April 2015. It is really beautiful! All of the popcorn ceilings have been scraped and are now smooth and repainted

Our home is very well equipped and appointed. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for a long stay. Relax and enjoy our home on the Isle of Palms. This home is approx 2 blocks to the beach and 2.5 blocks to the shops/restaurants of the Island. Everything is within walking distance and the location is fantastic. Redecorated home with flat screen TVs in all bedrooms and the family room. Direct TV in all bedrooms too. Hardwoods throughout the home with tile in the bathhrooms, Seating area and wine bar. Home is very open, and the kitchen has additional built in bench seating. New stainless dishwasher, new washer and dryer and ceramic tile in the bathrooms. The hardwoods are an addition as well. This is a great home for spending time together - the kitchen is very large and great for cooking and spending time together. Plenty of drive under parking and a back deck for relaxing. Cleaning and linens included. Includes all charges - linens taxes and cleaning - no additional fees.

Location, location, location! The location of this home is perfect. The house is just 4 blocks to the bridge to Mount Pleasant, 2 blocks to the beach, 3 blocks to ocean front shopping and restaurants. Mount Pleasant Towne Center is just 5 minutes away and is a large, upscale shopping area, complete with movie theater, restaurants and more shops than you can imagine.

It is a very unique, new/old shopping area. It is reminiscent of old downtown areas laid out in squares. Mount Pleasant Shem Creek area, 10 minutes away, has fine restaurants overlooking the shrimp boats on scenic Shem Creek. Historic Charleston is only 20 minutes away. What can I say about Charleston? It is the reason we moved here years ago and chose to get married here. It never loses it's charm. We still are in awe every time we go downtown.

  • The Master bedroom has a beautiful king sized bed and bedroom suite. The whole house was just redecorated! There is a walk in closet and a full bath attached. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV and family room has a flat screen TV with DVD. Direct TV has been added to the whole house. Master Bedroom and the family room have Direct TV. The family room also has a pull out sleeper. The Second bedroom is also well appointed with a large closet and queen sized bed, desk, and a flat screen TV. The third bedroom has two sets of oak bunk beds with pull out trundles underneath for your clothes, toys etc. A flat screen TV with Direct TV. The second full bath is conveniently located between bedrooms 2 and 3. Remember that all linens are provided as well, so both bathrooms are equipped with towels etc - All Bedrooms have ceiling fans too!

Worth the money

This house was exactly what we were looking for! It accommodated 4 adults and as many as 6 children without any problems. It was well stocked with any and all kitchen items as well as ample soap, TP, and paper towels. They even provided laundry detergent. This was my first experience renting a beach house. I would definitely stay here again as I was completely comfortable staying here.

Don't hesitate to reserve this home for your'll be completely satisfied with your decision.

Perfect for our family reunion stay

The house was perfectly situated near a family member whose house wasn't large enough for all of us. Easy to find, this house is on the main road and only a few short blocks from the beach. Although on the main road it was really quiet inside and we couldn't hear the traffic. The rooms are well insulated from each other.

The hardwood floors are nice and the house is pretty well equipped for a weekend stay. We didn't really get to explore the area too much so I cannot comment on restaurants or bars. There are lots of stores nearby if you need to buy something you left at home. I did not see an outdoor shower at the house but there is a back deck which was nice for am coffee.

Great location! Property in fair condition

This house is on a somewhat busy street but the beach is just 2 blocks away. The decor is mostly 1980s-1990s. The property is in fair condition, just needs a really deep clean (stains on cushions and curtains in kitchen, dishes in cabinet not completely clean, mildewed shower curtains, pillows a bit musty, etc.). Renters should be aware that there is no ice maker and no condiments or coffee in the kitchen. With minor improvements and a deep clean, we'd consider renting the place again, though, based on location, layout, and reasonable pricing for family accommodations.

So disappointed after planning and waiting so long for this trip

Arrived at property. Air condition was set at 85. Took over 12 hours to cool down. Refrigerator was on lowest setting and took over 24 hours to be able to maintain a cold level. Then when settling in it Became very apparent that the bedsheets in all the bedrooms had not been changed and were dirty. Called the property owner. He did send housekeeping the next day to have clean sheets put on bed. This really was a let down for a vacation that our family was looking forward to for so long. Won't be renting again anytime soon.

Owner's Response: Im very disappointed to read your negative review. We take all guest request seriously and the comfort of our guests is of the highest importance to us. We communicated multiple times both before and after the guest checked in. The guest requested an early check in which we accommodated at no charge. We have our home cleaned professionally and clean linens provided between each and every guest. We got a call from this guest late Friday evening that she had found a hair on the sheet, and we notified housekeeping immediately and they changed all the sheets on all of the beds Sat am, which was the earliest they could get there. The air temperature outside was over 100 degrees and this guest checked in at 1p. We spoke with them multiple times throughout the day and offered to send an HVAC tech out, but were told that the home was cool and comfortable Sat am. They requested that we not send anyone out to address it. We have a new 2 ton unit to cool this home and have it serviced regularly. We have had no complaints before or after this guest. To my knowledge the temperature controls on the refrigerator were not reset, but I will certainly speak with our property management company about that. I hope you will come back and enjoy your beautiful city and beaches. im very sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us.
