Charming stay in QBC
Quiet 3 bedroom in the arts district. We enjoyed a few days just the 2 of us but we will be back with our kids. The full kitchen was nice as we did most dinners in the apartment. Laurence and Martin are very gracious hosts giving fantastic recommendations for what to see and do. Old town was about 20 min walk away, grocery store and restaraunts less than 5 min walk. Bed was comfortable and unit was clean. Thank you for a great vacation and we look forward to staying here again.
Sarah and her husband was friendly. We were very happy to welcome them. Very respectfull guests. Don't hesitate to trust them .
Sarah thank you to live the house very clean. Come back to see us. Laurence et Martin
Super place to base for a visit to Quebec City
My family of 6 stayed in this home for 3 nights and were so comfortable we did not want to leave.
Within walking distance to Old Quebec we enjoyed the exercise as well as the attractions.
Although there is limited day time parking this was not a problem as we found a parking garage just 2 blocks away for very reasonable fees.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Cozy, Clean House
Our arrival to Quebec after hours in the car was made pleasant entering this property. It is charmingly appointed, with new kitchen and new leather sectonal with macaron pillows. How French! We felt right at home and enjoyed the stay there. Merci Laurence!
Great VRBO, Great location
Laurence our host was GREAT! Responded quickly to all my emails. House was immaculate and the location was great. We walked everywhere. Kitchen had everything you could ask for to cook a meal. We loved the house. Big screen TV, comfortable sectional couch, large kitchen and dining area. Great neighborhood. We had the good fortune of meeting Laurence upon our arrival. She was kind enough to spend some time with us to familiarize us with the city. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Laurence.
Great location, well appointed
This location was perfect for our stay in Quebec as it is close to the old city and many other points of interest. (Just a few blocks away is Avenue Cartier, a scenic street filled with restaurants and cafes; we walked there for pastries one morning. There is also a full grocery just around the corner.) Laurence greeted us on arrival and had a variety of maps and guides available to support our stay.
The house is very comfortable, true to the photographs. Kitchen is very well appointed and spacious, and the dining table very comfortable. Bedrooms and bedding also comfortable, with ceiling fans in 2 of the 3 rooms -- very nice for a summer evening. One slight downside to be aware of is that there is not a dedicated parking spot; street parking outside is limited during the day M-F (not really a problem for us as we were away during the day), and on the Saturday evening that we were there it took us quite some time to find a spot to park a couple of blocks away. That said, we were there during the Festival d'été and there was a big concert that night at the Plains of Abraham--just close enough that our street was one that concertgoers used. I suspect that any other time this would not have been a problem at all.
All in all, our stay was very pleasant and a great value. I would gladly stay here again if I get back to Quebec.
It was a pleasure welcome Mary and the family. They leave the house clean and they have respected the rules of the house . They ask a lot of questions about Quebec City . I appreciated that beacause I love my city and it a pleasure for me to give informations about the history, activities etc . Also it was difficult to me to find a parking even I leave in Quebec . The festival d'été is very popular . You're welcome back ! Laurence
