2 bed flat with sea views, 3 miles from Eden, parking, babysitters available.
A sunny, spacious flat with amazing views over the river and sea. Converted nineteenth century coach house previously lived in by Fowey's toffee maker. Parking and large balcony. One double bedroom, one twin room with Egyptian cotton bedding and towels.
We have welcomed international guests from many different countries since 1980 when my parents first ran a guesthouse from the family home. The flats were converted in 2008 to self contained units.
The house is 5 minutes from town and 2 minutes from the beach. Fowey is just 3 miles from the Eden Project
Fowey is an ancient bustling town with great places to eat, drink and shop. It also has stunning scenery with many coastal and woodland walks as well as boating or kayaking.
There is one ensuite double room and one twin room, plus a bathroom, so is ideal for families or groups of friends. Downstairs there is a kitchen diner and living room opening out onto a balcony.
The property also has a parking space on the shared drive outside.

About Sinead Hanks
I was brought up in this house and returned to Cornwall recently after 20 years in London. I live up the road with my two wee girls and husband. Together we started the popular Love Fowey website and have excellent local connections - let me know if there is anything you'd like to do while you're down! We also own the vintage lighting shop Any Old Lights next to the church. Many of my family live in town and the bread you'll find from the artisan Quay Bakery is made by my sister Nicky.
Sinead Hanks purchased this Apartment in 1976
Why Sinead Hanks chose Polruan
I run the flat on behalf of my mum, who owns the house. My parents bought the old coach house in 1976 and set about turning it into a family home for their 7 children, with another yet to come! After my dad died in 2001, and the kids had mostly left home, mum converted it into three flats in 2009
What makes this Apartment unique
You won't find better views in Fowey! Tullow House was named after the town my mum hails from in Ireland. It has stunning views and is a great location for beach or town.

Lovely spot but.....
Our overall experience wasn’t very good unfortunately, from the parking to issues with cleanlines, stained sheets, uncomfortable beds etc. I wasn’t going to leave a review to be honest but thought it best to for future prospective guests. Very disappointed.
Amazing views and great apartment.
Parking a bit difficult - no way could two vehicles be parked side by side- wouldn't be able to get out! We were the only ones there so not an issue. Heating came on at strange times- would've been much better in the evening and first thing in the morning.
Everything was available for a great stay though-such a central place for day trips. Will certainly use ownersdirect when we are next in the UK.
ACCOMMODATION ALL YOU WOULD EXPECT.
SHOWER HEAD ROOM A LITTLE CHALLENGING
PARKING NOT GOOD, BOTTOMED OUT THE CAR. IT NEEDS A BIT OF MONEY SPENDING ON THE DRIVE TO MAKE IT BETTER. THEY NEED TO DO THIS IF THEY ADVERTISE AS HAVING PARKING. WE ENDED UP PAYING FOR PARKING AND IT WAS ONE OF THE CONSIDERATIONS ON BOOKING THE ACCOMMODATION.
ALL I CAN SAY IS SHAME ON YOU. YOU LET THIS PROPERTY DOWN JUST BY PARKING.
Thanks for your review. You are right, the parking needs attention. Resurfacing the driveway is a major project that will be carried out in the next few weeks.
We do state very clearly in the Welcome Pack the situation with parking and that there is free parking on a road one minutes walk away. We are also always happy to refund any extra parking costs.
Fantastic appartment with stunning views
We had a very enjoyable stay in this clean, well furnished flat. The views across the estuary and out to sea are stunning, postcard perfect. Everything we needed was provided (towels, washing up liquid, toilet paper etc). Sinead was very helpful and informative, and on hand if you needed anything. No problem parking in the spaces provided. We would love to come back again sometime. Highly recommended.
