Clean, convenient, comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We felt at home during our stay here. It was super clean and the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed having our morning Kona coffee (left for us by the owner) on the lanai with a sliver view of the ocean. If you're looking to get away from the craziness in Waikiki, Kapolei is perfect. It's a much more relaxed pace. I highly recommend going to restaurants outside Kapolei - they are overpriced and overrated.

The villas were gorgeous with a nice beach to explore, ample pools, and Koi ponds. Beautifully landscaped and clean.

We did so much during our stay - Pali Lookout, Kailua Beach, Wild Side Dolphin Specialty Tours (so awesome), Ala Moana, Makapuu Light House, Kokohead hike, North Shore, Waimea Bay, etc.

Lisa (the owner) went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and answer all of our questions.

Most awesome rental - 371613!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Lisa's condo from 6/16-6/24/17. From the start Lisa is an amazing person and so very helpful in every aspect. We had not been to Hawaii before and she provided a lot of information about the island. Her condo is top notch. Stepping into the condo you are greeted with furnishings that are gorgeous and the sunrises and sunsets from the lanai are beautiful. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and the resort itself is so beautiful! The pools are wonderful, the beach area is one of the best I saw on the entire island. The walkway between the resort and Disney and the Marriott is great. We spent a lot of time doing things around the island but it was wonderful to come back to the condo and just relax on the lanai and enjoy the quiet! We had visited Waikiki one evening and I was so glad that we had chosen to stay at Ko Olina!!! There are shops and restaurants nearby and a short drive to the North Shore. Our family celebrated our 30th anniversary, a college graduation and a one year anniversary at Ko Olina, we made memories to last a lifetime here!!!!!!!!!!

Little Slice of Paradise

  • 5 of 5

Immediately when we stepped into the Ko Olina beach villa we were greeted with feelings of tranquility and hospitality. From the modern appliances to the Japanese decor, everything was so relaxing and quiet enabling our family to have an amazing time. We loved that it was so much less crowded than Waikiki. It was extremely helpful to be so close to restaurants and shops, not to mention the packet of recommended places which made it easy to plan out where we wanted to go. The highlight of our visit was driving down the west coast to Yokohama Beach and spotting a whale waving it's tail at us only 100 yards from shore. It was wonderful to explore a different side of the island and have access to beaches, private pools, and lagoons. Our family definitely made some long-lasting memories here. The only thing that was disappointing was when our stay ended!

A fantastic spot away from the hustle and bustle

  • 4 of 5

My wife, 5yr old son and a family friend stayed at this fantastic apartment for 8 nights in early November and it was just what we needed to relax away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. With so few people around, it was like we had the entire property to ourselves. So many times we found ourselves laying alone around the pool, drinking cocktails at the pool bar, or swimming across the empty lagoon wondering where everyone else was.

Lisa was a fantastic host and provided a wealth of information about both the property and local area and it was so easy to head out to the local shops and restaurants, drop next door for breakfast at the Disney resort to meet Mickey, Minnie and Pluto (it's a 5yr old thing, but the grown-ups become kids for a couple of hours as well), or jump in the car to travel a couple of exits down the interstate for major shopping and dining. (Don't miss out on breakfast at My Cafe (563 Farrington Hwy, Kapolei) - amazing food)

Whilst the whole stay was excellent and the condo very comfortable, we were sometimes a little frustrated at the A/C in the second bedroom not providing enough cooling, but all in all it could be solved with a little fresh air into the evening.

Also - If anyone is looking for a bath that you need scuba gear to survive in, this condo has it. Everyone took turns to disappear into the incredibly deep tub, hoping to surface some minutes later.

We're certainly going to try to get back here soon.

Owner's Response: I am glad you enjoyed your stay at our villa! I wish I had known about the air conditioning problem in the second bedroom while you were there, as I would have called maintenance in immediately to fix it. The air conditioning has now been fixed and our villa will be ready for your return visit to Paradise! Lisa

Gorgeous, Serene - the True Hawaii on Oahu

  • 5 of 5

Waikiki is crowded with high rises, crowds, traffic, noise... Surprised to find a resort on Oahu that still represents the quiet, natural, gorgeous beauty of Hawaii yet conveniently accessible to the entire island. It was like a grand resort on one of the outer islands. The villa was pretty spectacular. Couldn't believe that one wall opened up to go out on our lanai with island views. All of the amenities of inside but felt outside. We could cook in the designer kitchen and eat with the feel of the tradewinds. A beautiful Japanese wedding kimono adorned the wall and I felt so soothed by all the culture and beauty surrounding me. Going downstairs to walk through the gardens, to see the largest Koi fish in the pond, to pass the pools and out to the private huge beach lagoon were amazing. You could even walk along the beach walkway 15 min to Aulani, the Disney Resort. Lisa was so helpful in providing us an entire itinerary of nearby places to shop, eat, and all of the island signtseeing highlights. So spoiled here. This experience really made our vacation spectacular!

Had the best time

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed here in early August for a wedding in Ko Olina. The accommodations were lovely and had everything we needed. The Villas are close to shops, restaurants, Costo and Walmart. Lisa was super nice and easy to correspond with. We did venture out to other areas of Oahu, but I would have been perfectly content with just staying at the resort during our entire stay. It was so relaxing and had a totally different vibe from bustling Waikiki. The pools were clean and the water was a good temperature. I used the gym in the mornings. It was clean and overlooks the "quiet" pool. At most, there were probably only 2 other people using it. I never had to wait to use equipment. I didn't have time to use the sauna but it was an added bonus. The lagoon is just steps away from the pools. It was peaceful, not crowded and is known for its sea turtles. We were sad to go. I would LOVE to stay here again!
