Very peaceful with lovely views over our fields. It is very newly decorated and there is a power shower and soft fluffy white towels. The sheets are 400 thread count cotton and the bed is a King size and anti allergy and very comfortable.
The duvet is made from down and is 13 tog.

Great walks from the house and a local pub 5 minutes walk away.
What a fabulous cottage in a wonderful location, some wonderful walks, local forests and easy access to some good village pubs. Very well appointed cottage with many essential items, adding some touches of luxury, Egyptian cotton bed linen, beautiful fluffy white towels, Ren products, log burning stove, fresh hen eggs, homemade bread and jam, this owner really takes pride in her cottage making the stay a real pleasure.
I was reluctant to write a review as I wanted to keep this gem to myself, as we will definitely will be returning. Great communication throughout the booking, our dog was very welcome, extremely helpful and deserving of success.
A luxurious bathroom and bedroom added to the overall charm of the cottage. The bed and bedding was of such high quality that it was wonderful to go up after being out all day.
The cottage is in an ideal area for so many areas of interest and visiting Hever castle, Chartwell and Rye were just some of the delights close to hand.
Phillipa was very welcoming with tips on places to visit but never intrusive and we were invited to help ourselves to veg and fruit from the vegetable garden - thank you for the apples, broad beans and apples we partook of Phillipa as well as the welcoming eggs, bread and jam that were waiting for us on our arrival.
We feel the cottage fully deserves five stars - we had a great time!
We needed a short break getaway to unwind, and found it here. Lovely cottage, lovely owner (Philippa), and lovely location. Even the weather was lovely!
I really can't say enough good things about our weekend at the cottage. Philippa was a wonderful host, available when we needed her, but leaving us to ourselves just to relax. The cottage is beautiful and the kitchen was really well equipped, which for two people who like to cook was much appreciated. Having private outside space was just the cherry on the top, and we loved having barbecues on the patio. Overall, we couldn't fault it and are already trying to work out when we can go back!
This 3 night break was just what the doctor ordered! The house was immaculate and well stocked. The bathroom and shower were clean and tranquil.
The fresh eggs and bread were a lovely added touch.
The bed could have had a couple of extra pillows and the chairs in the sitting area/ lounge would have been more cosy as a small sofa to snuggle on.
These two things are just suggestions to make this house even more perfect for a short romantic and relaxing break.
We will definitely be back and thankful for having us.
We could have spent two days just relaxing without having to leave the property. We were very comfortable in the well appointed suite and enjoyed the sunny patio. Walking around the property and discovering the pond at the far end of the wheat field was a perfect ending to the day.
The hiking trails, starting just outside the property's driveway, led to amazing views of the country side.
Nearby towns and villages were just a short walk or a few minutes drive away and had everything we needed.
It was a great location to be able to venture out to discover world famous gardens and historical sites.
Kitchen, bathroom and bed were all of superior quality.
Philippa and her family were welcoming and helpful.
We would recommend this property to anyone and will certainly tell our friends about it back home.
We have lots of lovely castles to visit locally, namely Scotney, Leeds, Sissinghurst and Hever. Most are just 20 minutes away. We also have great local walks in Bedgebury Forest and Bewl water.
