Perfect in so many ways

  • 5 of 5

Plenty of space for a family of four. Location is excellent to all your mountain vacation locations. Very clean, comfortable, and up to date appliances and amenities. Nancy's homemade muffins and fresh ground coffee were a delicious treat. Definitely going to be staying here again!

Amazing home and amazing host

  • 5 of 5

I didn't know much about the mars hills area before I visited. It's close enough to ashville where you have the convenience of all the great sites and far enough where you are still nestled in the country side. The home was very clean and the host were great. We were greeted with muffins. Five stars

Comfy house ... Lovely hosts!

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was comfortable, clean, and in an easy to find location. Nancy allowed us to check in early, which was helpful.

The kitchen was well stocked and there were fresh muffins for us. Beds were comfortable.

Water pressure in the upstairs shower was weak and there's no internet access.

Owner's Response: We are glad you enjoyed your stay at our rental. We wished you would have told us about the water pressure during your stay. The whole house is on a filtration system, a quick change of the filter would have restored the pressure. As for the internet access we are still trying to get a provider to deliver services to our rentals, hopefully in the future we will be able to have internet access.

Great escape from every day life

  • 5 of 5

We spent three nights at this home and it was the end of our vacation. What a great way to wind up a very busy trip. The house was very well stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. Just hit the grocery store, which there are two in the area, and your getaway is set. The house has plenty of room for a family to not be crowded and a loft that the kids would enjoy staying in. With its separate bathroom. The owners were very helpful and respond quickly to ensure you will have no issues. We will stay again some day.

We look forward to coming back and staying again next year. One suggestion would be to put memory foam on the mattresses for a more comfortable sleep. Everything else was awesome!!

Owner's Response: Hi Lisa, thanks for the suggestions, we have put a pad on every bed in the rental. We would love for you to stay at our place again.
