This home had everything that we needed for a weekend away from it all. It was better in person than it was in the pictures, and the views from the porch are wonderful. It was far enough away from Asheville that we felt secluded, but not far enough from the highway that it wasn't easy to get there. Our hostess was truly wonderful and welcoming, her freshley baked cinnamon muffins were delightful in the mornings :) Would recommend staying here!

An ideal place to reset mental switches

  • 5 of 5

My family thoroughly enjoyed staying at the cabin. Its location is perfect: access to the interstate in less than 5 minutes, and Asheville is 20 minutes away, but remote enough that the road sounds are faintly distant. The site is surrounded by trees, and you get all the fresh mountain air you can breathe. The cabin's interior is spacious and wonderfully private despite numerous windows. If I were to name the house I might call it "The Comfort Zone". And, it is an absolute bargain at the rental cost. I would definitely opt to stay there again in the future.

The house was very charming and extremely clean. Nancy met us with a warm welcome and with some delicious muffins. Exactly how it was described on the listing. Would definitely love to stay here again.
