Amazing stay! Thank you for everything and already many of our friends and family want to stay here!
The setting is beautiful and sunroom has phenomenal view of the coastline and ocean. My wife and I were in constant awe with the setting. The cottage was very nice and modest with all of the essentials. Highly recommended and my wife and I both agreed this was the best place we have ever stayed at, and we have traveled to different countries quite a bit.
This property is everything one could ask for when traveling through Northern Ireland. The views are spectacular. The green house is so inviting and we almost spent the night because of the views of the ocean and the landscape and the sheep :)
The owner was so helpful and easy to get in touch with. I have to say this was our family's favorite stop during our stay in Ireland. We will return to this cottage on our next visit and spend even more time exploring the amazing Antrim Coast.
The Owners have Thought of Everything
We spent a week between Belfast, the Causeway Coastal Route, and Derry/Londonderry. This cottage in Ballintoy harbour was our favourite spot.
From the warmth of the greenhouse in the back you can see points North and West. We checked in after 3 days of 30+ MPH winds. From inside the greenhouse at sunset on the last windy day, we were able to watch 8-10 foot waves crashing against all of the rock formations in the harbour. By the third day of our stay the wind had mostly blown through and shore was calm.
The cottage is nicely decorated and packed with kid's toys, movies, firewood, books, and just about anything you would need for days when the weather is un-cooperative. Our kids loved seeing the sheep grazing just on the other side of the fence.
Good clean and great location
Wonderful view, lovely see air on the door step
Our family of five had a wonderful Christmas in Lisa and Turlough’s cottage. The setting is beautiful, the cottage is well equipped, warm and cozy. Fantastic hikes, right out the front door - a perfect base for exploring the Causeway Coast and area. Stayed 9 days and still ran out of time - there is so much to do in this area. The waterfront location is unbeatable!
Lisa and Turlough are superb hosts, providing the thoughtful extras that make for great memories.
Lovely cosy cottage in a fantastic location
We stayed here for a few days early November with our daughters aged 4 and 6 and had a wonderful time. The location is amazing, set right in Ballintoy harbour, with the Causeway Way right on your doorstep for great walks and lots of exploring for children. The cottage had everything we could possibly need and is a great base to visit so many local landmarks. A lovely place to cosy up and light the fire when settled in for the night. Would definitely recommend this place.
