Great stay at Kittitoe Lodge!
My family and I had a relaxing and enjoyable time at the lodge, making use of all the included facilities. The pool and jacuzzi were excellent and hygiene was maintained. We will definitely be visiting the lodge again in the near future.

Amazing spot pool and jacuzzi wonderful
The Lodge itself is looking a bit tired and scruffy - but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Great pool, pretty lodge.
The Lodge itself is very pretty and set in a very idyllic and beautiful spot. The swimming pool is lovely and warm, and very large for a private pool. We all loved swimming in it, especially when the weather wasn't so kind! In nice weather we enjoyed lovely walks down to Heddon's Mouth, and the Hunters Inn which were an easy walk away for relatively fit people! Also nearby were Lynton and Lynmouth, and Exmoor zoo, plus great beaches at Woolacombe and Croyde - all well worth a visit.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay but there are a few minor things which could be done to improve the experience of staying in the lodge itself. The bathrooms were a bit tired, the bed in the main bedroom was uncomfortable, as was the sofa bed in the sitting room. Towels could be provided (even if just bath towels), and small things were missing from the kitchen, like a cheese grater, which although not major, was an annoyance! Also of difficulty was the entrance into the driveway, which is too narrow on such a tight bend. Not sure if anything could be done about that, but a bit of warning would have been good! I'm not sure how very large cars would get in!
A lovely touch was the prosecco on ice when we arrived, and generally we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Also a nice touch was the phone call from the housekeeper after we had arrived to make sure everything was okay. Basically though, I think you're paying for the pool, rather than a luxurious place to say. Comfortable yes, but not high end luxury if that's what you're after.
We would recommend this as a quiet retreat for a relaxing holiday with family or friends, Just be prepared for the VERY narrow lanes and narrow driveway entrance!
